Acquia Cloud updates - week of June 9, 2019

This release of Acquia Cloud includes the following updates for the week of June 9, 2019 through June 15, 2019:

Fixed issues

  • The Acquia Cloud user interface failed to display views and visits data for some subscribers.
  • When installing a non-legacy SSL certificate, Acquia Cloud generated unneeded update tasks.
  • Attempts to remove a wildcard domain name from an environment failed with validation errors.

Acquia Cloud updates - week of June 2, 2019

June 10, 2019

This release of Acquia Cloud includes the following updates for the week of June 2, 2019 through June 8, 2019:

Change

  • The text on the Payment Settings page was updated for subscribers who do not have any payments set up.
  • A certain pipelines configuration was updated to prevent intermittent timeouts with third party systems.
  • Acquia Cloud Professional subscribers will now see a welcome screen after creating an account if the account was created within the last seven days.
  • The Acquia Cloud API v2 documentation was updated to use the Swagger UI framework.
  • The All Organizations link in the breadcrumb navigation was updated to link to the All Applications page instead of the My Organizations list page in the Acquia Cloud user interface.
  • Subscribers with Node apps can now view up to 9,999 Node artifact items in the Acquia Cloud user interface.
  • A certain endpoint was updated in the Acquia Cloud user interface to allow node runtimes to be configured.

Fixed issues

  • Certain subscribers experienced pipelines build failures due to a certain memory limit constraint.
  • The hover text for Application in the breadcrumb navigation was displayed incorrectly.
  • Certain examples for the GET applications/[uuid]/tasks endpoint in the Acquia Cloud API documentation were incorrect.

Acquia Cloud updates - week of May 26, 2019

This release of Acquia Cloud includes the following updates for the week of May 26, 2019 through June 1, 2019:

Change

  • When a certain flag is enabled, subscribers can view their php-error.log without any newlines in a single log.

Fixed issues

  • The Acquia Cloud user interface truncated a certain number of characters in the scheduled jobs command when the number of characters exceeded the width of the display field on the Scheduled jobs page.
  • Due to a change in the Bitbucket payload structure, some subscribers could not trigger jobs using webhooks.

This release of Acquia Cloud includes the following updates for the week of May 19, 2019 through May 25, 2019:

Changes

  • The following included software was updated:
    • PHP versions were updated to 7.1.29, 7.2.18, and 7.3.5
  • The Acquia Cloud interface now displays the Application UUID on the Product Keys page.
  • The Agreements page was removed from the Profile section of the Acquia Cloud interface.
  • When opening the breadcrumb navigation menu, the current application, organization, and environment are displayed.
  • Acquia Cloud now supports webp images without the need for a custom Content-Type header.
  • SSL endpoints are now marked as supported in the Acquia Cloud API documentation.
  • The Acquia Cloud interface includes several minor changes for usability.

Acquia Cloud updates - week of May 12, 2019

May 20, 2019

This release of Acquia Cloud includes the following updates for the week of May 12, 2019 through May 18, 2019:

Changes

  • Subscribers can now use memcache in Acquia Cloud pipelines feature containers.
  • Subscribers can no longer run the pipelines-deploy command inside the build event.

Fixed issues

  • The Acquia Cloud pipelines feature did not update the Bitbucket status for builds.
  • Some subscribers could not use the Acquia Cloud interface to delete CD environments that failed to be created.
  • Attempting to connect Bitbucket accounts with more than 100 repositories to Acquia Cloud CD environments would fail.
  • Subscribers received unnecessary requests to reset their passwords.

  • When forwarding logs to an external service, log file lines greater than 1 KB in size were truncated.
  • Customers were briefly unable to create Acquia Cloud CD environments (CDEs) due to a task failure.

Acquia Cloud updates - week of April 28, 2019

This release of Acquia Cloud includes the following updates for the week of April 28, 2019 through May 4, 2019:

Changes

  • The Acquia Cloud pipelines feature is now compatible with the new Bitbucket API.
  • You can now select PHP version 7.3 in the Acquia Cloud interface.
  • The following included software was updated:
    • PHP versions were updated to 7.1.28, 7.2.17, and 7.3.4
    • New Relic was updated to version 8.6.0.238
  • A new default permission, Manage Remote IDEs, is now available for all roles in the Acquia Cloud interface.

Acquia Cloud updates - week of April 21, 2019

April 29, 2019

This release of Acquia Cloud includes the following updates for the week of April 21, 2019 through April 27, 2019:

Changes

  • The text describing the Cloud API role under the Accessing the Acquia Cloud UI section of the Edit Role page was updated.
  • The description text under the Certificates and Private Key fields was updated on the Log Forwarding page.
  • A module alerts icon, which displays a list of alerts and their details (if one or more alerts exists), now displays on environment cards in the Acquia Cloud interface. For more information about Insight alerts and the module alerts icon, see the Understanding the Insight score and alerts documentation page.
  • The provision lead time message displayed by the Acquia Cloud interface when customers try to provision a new Acquia Cloud Free subscription has been updated.
  • The Acquia Cloud pipelines API was updated to work with certain Bitbucket endpoints to allow customers to keep working without incident.

Fixed issues

  • The Views and Visits page displayed an error if the to parameter in the date range picker was greater than the current date and time.
  • Customers were unable to copy files from their production environments to their development environments due to a certain error message being displayed in the Acquia Cloud interface.
  • In the Acquia Cloud interface, a certain link returned a 404 error for accounts with the Acquia Cloud pipelines feature.
  • The Acquia Cloud API subscription/{uuid}/entitlements endpoint returned visits and views as strings instead of integers.

Fixed issues

  • Drupal 8-based websites that had Drush 9.6 installed in the vendor directory displayed Declaration of Drush\Commands\AhSqlCommands fatal error messages when executing Drush commands.

  • When attempting to upgrade Drupal 7-based websites with Drush commands, Drush terminated with an error message, and the upgrade process failed.

  • Drush commands failed for websites using PHP 7.2, causing the following error message to be written several times to the log files:

    The each() function is deprecated in Net_DNS2->sendPacket()
    

Acquia Cloud updates - week of April 14, 2019

April 23, 2019

This release of Acquia Cloud includes the following updates for the week of April 14, 2019 through April 20, 2019:

Changes

  • The Acquia Cloud interface breadcrumb navigation now renders more quickly for subscriptions with a large number of applications.
  • Updated text in the Cloud API and the API Tokens pages in the Profile section of the Acquia Cloud interface.
  • The accounts.acquia.com API rate limit is now set to 100 requests per minute.

Fixed issues

  • Application cards for Node.js applications displayed Insight scores.
  • Subscribers with applications hosted in a VPC were unable to rsync data between environments.

Feature

  • Cloud API v2 is now available

    The Acquia Cloud API v2 is now available with over 200 endpoints for developer workflow, website management, and provisioning capabilities. Its improved API documentation helps you extend, enhance, and customize Acquia Cloud. Learn more.

    Important

    With the release of Acquia Cloud API v2, Acquia Cloud API v1 will reach end-of-life on April 15, 2020.

Changes

  • The following included software was updated:
    • PHP versions were updated to 7.1.27 and 7.2.16.
  • Insight scores are now displayed on each environment card.
  • Log forwarding on Acquia Cloud Enterprise now supports FPM access and FPM error logs.
  • The Acquia Cloud interface now displays the production environment’s PHP version on its application card.
  • Certain labels were removed from the application card in the Acquia Cloud interface.
  • Certain potentially destructive actions in the Acquia Cloud interface that previously required re-entering a password before submitting now require a confirmation message.

Fixed issues

  • For log forwarding subscribers on Acquia Cloud Enterprise, multi-line messages in the Drupal watchdog log failed to forward correctly.
  • A database details component displayed an incorrect name if the first character was a digit.
  • Acquia Cloud CD environments failed to time out.
  • In certain circumstances, incorrect environment pages were displayed for an application.

Changes

  • For Acquia Cloud Enterprise customers using the legacy log forwarding service, the method of forwarding logs was updated.
  • The default size for the max_allowed_packet MySQL setting on the Acquia Cloud pipelines container was increased to 100 MB.
  • The Usage Metrics API was updated to remove references to the hour resolution.

Fixed issue

  • The Acquia Cloud interface breadcrumb navigation performed slowly for users with a large number of applications.

  • The error messages displayed in the Acquia Cloud interface when configuring log forwarding destinations were updated.
  • The Acquia Cloud interface now displays help text when hovering over the Steps to Launch button.
  • The video displayed when provisioning an Acquia Cloud Free subscription has been updated.

Fixed issues

  • The breadcrumb navigation failed to display when a modal window was also displayed.
  • The Two-step Verification page in the Acquia Cloud interface displayed outdated images.
  • For Acquia Cloud Free subscribers, the Steps to Launch page displayed an invalid Learn More link.

  • In certain circumstances, emails from the Acquia Cloud interface failed to send.
  • Drush aliases downloaded from the Acquia Cloud interface contained an invalid link in the included README file.
  • When selecting Sumologic as a log forwarding destination, the Acquia Cloud interface required a private key.
  • The private key for Sumologic log forwarding destinations was not being properly validated.
  • The Acquia Cloud interface sometimes failed to display the version of Node.js running on an environment.
