Content Hub 8.x-1.33

This release of Content Hub contains the following updates:

Changes

  • When theming a custom block, the expected filename has changed.
  • Added a button to purge stale queues on the Export queue configuration page.
  • Added a new Drush command (acquia-contenthub-watchdog-queue-sizes) to log the size of the import and export queues to Drupal’s watchdog log.
  • Removed waiting time during export, and added a Pause option.
  • Content Hub no longer processes queue items during web requests.
  • Improved the logging of UUIDS during export.
  • Label field data is now sent to the Content Hub service, if the field is available to that entity.

Fixed issues

  • When re-exporting entity reference fields that previously contained data, the outdated entity references were not removed.
  • When switching accounts, error messages were occasionally displayed.
  • During directory creation, the user interface displayed permission error messages.

Content Hub 8.x-1.32

November 8, 2018

This release of Content Hub contains the following updates:

Changes

  • Removed support for PHP 5.6 and Drupal 8.5.
  • Added the Drush command acquia-contenthub-audit-publisher to audit published entities.

Fixed issues

  • The Import queue form is consistent with other forms when showing overridden configurations.
  • The Link field only accepted nodes, not all entities.
  • Explicitly calling nodes instead of entities causes fewer issues.

Content Hub 8.x-2.x-beta1

October 10, 2018

This beta client release of Content Hub for Drupal 8 (download) contains the following updates:

Note

This is a beta release. Acquia recommends thorough testing before using the module with production websites, and the product may not contain all features in the final released version.

Features

  • Updated content discovery interface
Content Hub now includes a Discovery Interface Ember application for creating new cloud filters, and for defining what content is destined for which webhooks. This feature is currently in the Curate module, but will eventually appear as needed throughout the interface.
  • Browse content in the Hub
The Discovery Interface can browse content in the Hub. Note that this feature cannot yet manually import individual items on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Updated documentation format
User and developer documentation (in .rst format) has been included with Content Hub for your use.
  • Extended documentation in code
Content Hub includes a large expansion of code level docblocks.
  • Hash tracking of all entities
Hash tracking is now included as part of the normal operation of import and export. Entity exports hash the values of the entity and pass it along through CDF to subscribers. Subscribers keep the hash value to compare against future import requests, and discard those requests when the hashes match.
  • Drush 9 and Content Hub
Content Hub includes several Drush 9 commands to help you automate your interactions with the product.

Changes

  • Added new base_url CDF Attributes to all CDF Objects.
  • Added new entity languages metadata.
  • Added new CDF version metadata.
  • Added new hash CDF Attribute for entity change tracking.
  • Added new user specific CDF Attributes for identifying unique users between installs.
  • Administration of all fleet webhooks and clients is possible from a publisher.
  • Enabled the FailedImportEvent dispatch process for better import debugging.
  • Improved the site registration process by simplifying webhook registration and aggregating that process into the client registration process.

Fixed issues

  • Resolved user name/email address conflict errors on import.
  • Added a title to the admin/content/acquia-contenthub page.
  • Existing entities will now be identified in the exported or confirmed state instead of only exported.
  • Rendered Entity CDF objects maintain their UUID instead of generating new ones on each export.
