The Domains page in the Edge Console is your central hub for managing how traffic flows through Acquia Edge Standard. It lists every domain associated with your Acquia subscription, shows its current provisioning status, and provides the actions and DNS details you need to onboard, manage, or remove domains from the Edge network.

From this page, you can:

*   Initialize Edge Standard tenancy for a domain
    
*   Validate domain ownership and provision SSL
    
*   Configure DNS to proxy traffic through the Edge network
    
*   Deprovision domains that should no longer route through Edge Standard
    

Important

Acquia Edge Standard supports root domains only if your DNS registrar provides CNAME flattening (also known as ALIAS or ANAME records). Because Edge Standard does not provide static IP addresses for proxying, CNAME flattening is required to map your bare domain to the CDN.

To enable Edge Standard protection for a root domain, please contact Acquia Support to begin the configuration process.

Key elements
------------

The Domains page includes the following core components:

*   **Domain overview table**  
    A centralized list of all domains associated with your subscription. For each domain, you can view key information such as its current provisioning status and available actions (for example, configuring Edge or deprovisioning the domain).
    
*   **Search and filtering**  
    A search bar helps you quickly locate a specific domain, even in large environments. You can filter by domain name and scan by status to see which domains still require attention.
    
*   **DNS Information panel**  
    For a selected domain, the DNS Information panel provides the exact Canonical Name (CNAME) records you need to:
    
    *   Validate SSL ownership (SSL CNAME)
        
    *   Repoint production traffic through Acquia Edge (Traffic CNAME)
        

This panel is the primary reference for updating DNS at your registrar.
