Introduction
------------

Use Acquia Edge Standard to enhance the performance and security of your Acquia-hosted websites. This guide helps new users and administrators get started, from login and access through initial configuration and first tasks.

Product overview
----------------

Acquia Edge Standard is a Content Delivery Network (CDN) and Web Application Firewall (WAF) solution for Acquia Cloud Platform customers. It caches content closer to users to reduce latency and provides real-time visibility into traffic patterns through a centralized Security Metrics dashboard. Protected threat categories include OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and DDoS attacks.
