The [Error 1000](https://community.cloudflare.com/t/fixing-error-1000-dns-points-to-prohibited-ip/178709) occurs when your DNS record points to a Cloudflare IP.

To resolve this error, use the following steps and edit your DNS records to point to your origin server’s IP address.

1.  Go to your Cloudflare dashboard.
2.  Select your site.
3.  Click on the **DNS** icon.
4.  Identify any records that point to Cloudflare IP addresses and replace them with the IP addresses where your website is hosted.
5.  Save your changes.
