To clear platform-level edge caches for a site environment, use the Multi‑Experience Operations (MEO) interface. This feature enables users to invalidate cached content without use of the Cloud platform API or command line tool.

### Use cases and impact

Use this feature after the deployment of changes or after a fix for an issue to ensure that changes are visible to visitors quickly.

* ****Caches cleared****: Varnish and Acquia Cloud Platform Content Delivery Network (CDN), if enabled.

* ****Caches not cleared****: Application-level caches, such as Drupal internal caches, or database caches.

* ****Performance impact****: Clearing caches must be done with caution as it might temporarily increase the load on the origin Acquia Cloud platform while the cache rebuilds.
