Issue

You have added a new custom domain on Acquia Cloud and while checking the domain on Acquia Cloud UI at - Environment -> Domains -> Status shows "`DNS does not resolve`"

Resolution
----------

This error can occur, if the domain has been added on Acquia Cloud, but no DNS record has been created. Please confirm if a DNS record has been created and then check the domain status on Acquia Cloud again to see if  "`DNS resolves to Acquia`".
