The following API calls count as search requests and contribute to your monthly search utilization:

*   All Search API requests made to the `/select` endpoint.
*   All Search API requests made to the `/emselect` endpoint that execute a search query.
*   Any request that triggers the Smart Answer `/answer` endpoint (this counts as an additional search request on top of the underlying search query).
*   Changing facets, as this action triggers a new request to the `/select` endpoint.
