Transferring a subscription to another organization
---------------------------------------------------

Based on the following Cloud Platform subscription types, use the process for your subscription type to transfer a subscription to another organization:

* _Cloud Platform Enterprise_: [Create a Support ticket](/service-offerings/support#contact-acquia-support).
* _Cloud Platform Professional_: Complete the following steps:

Note

This process is available only for accounts with _Owner_ [permissions](/acquia-cloud-platform/access/teams/roles) for the selected [organization](/acquia-cloud-platform/access/teams/organizations).

1. [Add a new subscription](/acquia-cloud-platform/create-apps) to the desired organization.
2. Migrate your existing subscription data to the new subscription by either [migrating the data yourself](/acquia-cloud-platform/onboarding/migrate/applications#migrate-yourself) or by [obtaining assistance from Acquia](/acquia-cloud-platform/onboarding/migrate/applications#migrate-with-acquia).
3. After you complete the migration process, [delete the unneeded subscription](../support/billing.html#billing-cancel).

Changing a subscription’s region
--------------------------------

After you create a Platform subscription, you cannot change the region in which it was created to a different value.

Instead, create a new subscription in the different region, export your website from Cloud Platform, and then import the website into the new subscription.

Deleting a sitegroup
--------------------

Important

* Deleting a sitegroup is permanent, and deleted sitegroups can’t be restored. After you delete a sitegroup, you can no longer access your application or its files.
* For information about deleting a website from Site Factory, see [Deleting a site](/site-factory/manage/website/delete).

To delete a sitegroup from Cloud Platform (_after_ you’ve backed up your [applications](/acquia-cloud-platform/manage-apps/back-up), [log files](/acquia-cloud-platform/using-logs "Using logs"), and any other required information), [create a Support ticket](/service-offerings/support#contact-acquia-support) containing the following information:

* The name of the [sitegroup](/definitions/sitename) you want to delete.
* The date you want the sitegroup to be deleted.

_If your subscription includes an Account Manager (AM) or Customer Success Manager (CSM),_ Acquia Support will confirm your request with them before completing the deletion process.

After confirming you have downloaded any needed data, code, and databases, Acquia Support will delete your sitegroup.

Note

If you are a Cloud Platform Professional subscriber, see [Cancellation](/service-offerings/billing#billing-cancel).

Remote Administration
---------------------

Some subscriptions may use Acquia’s [Remote Administration services](/acquia-cms/ra). Subscriptions with this service will have an **RA** link in the left menu, and clicking this link enables you to [configure the preferences](/acquia-cms/ra/preferences) for your Remote Administration service.
