You must configure the WYSIWYG editor to allow all new media types. To do this:

1. Go to the Configuration page `/admin/config` in Drupal.
2. In the Content authoring section, select **Text formats and editors** `/admin/config/content/formats`.
3. For each of the text formats that use Media Library, select **Configure** and go to the Filter settings section.
4. Under Embed media, go to the section labeled Media types selectable in the Media Library. Select the new media types you want to allow in the WYSIWYG editor.
