After you've chosen to use the [standard template](What-types-of-portals-can-I-create) for your portal, the Live Editor for the Standard Portal will display. From the Live Editor, you can take a number of actions:

*   Add a title to your banner section
*   Choose a [banner image](How-do-I-add-a-banner-to-a-portal) or background color
*   Add [banner and asset sections](What-are-sections)
*   [Add assets](How-do-I-add-assets-to-a-portal) and [collections](How-do-I-add-collections-to-a-portal)
*   Include descriptive text
*   Choose to [allow downloads or shares](/acquia-dam/how-do-i-allow-downloads-or-shares-portal "How do I allow downloads or shares from a portal?")
*   Display [filenames or metadata](What-can-be-used-for-display-names-in-portals), allow users to [search](How-do-I-let-others-search-for-assets-in-a-portal) the portal, [choose how many assets display](/acquia-dam/how-do-i-change-how-many-assets-display-portal "How do I change how many assets display in a portal?") on each page, and [sort](How-do-I-change-the-sort-order-of-assets-in-a-portal) the portal
*   [Preview](/acquia-dam/how-do-i-preview-portal "How do I preview a portal?") and [share](/acquia-dam/how-do-i-share-portal "How do I share a portal?") the portal
