Currently, exporting search results is only available in the classic search experience, not redesigned search.

If you have the Export Asset Search Reports [permission](/acquia-dam/what-does-each-permission-mean "What does each permission mean?"), you can [export](Where-can-I-export-from-in-the-Acquia-DAM) up to 1.5 million rows of data about assets from search results into a CSV format. In CSV exports, you'll see data about asset groups, [categories](/acquia-dam/how-do-i-add-assets-categories-and-search-categories "How do I add assets to categories and search categories?"), [ratings](/acquia-dam/how-do-i-rate-assets "How do I rate assets?"), [release](/acquia-dam/how-do-i-release-and-unrelease-assets "How do I release and unrelease assets?") and [expiration dates](/acquia-dam/what-are-expiration-dates "What are expiration dates?"), [metadata types](/acquia-dam/what-are-metadata-types "What are metadata types?"), asset creators, asset download links, and more. When a feature is enabled on your site – like the Ratings feature – data about it will be included in exports.  
  
If an admin has enabled the Export Search Results to PDF feature, any user can export up to 2,000 rows of data to a PDF.  
  
To create a search results export, perform a search, click **Export**, and select the type of export you'd like to receive (PDF or CSV).

The type of export, number of rows of data, and sort order is listed in the Export Summary. Give your export a name, then click Export.

In PDF exports, [previews](/acquia-dam/do-previews-display-when-i-upload-assets "Do previews display when I upload assets?") of assets from search results and asset filenames that link back to your site are included. To include thumbnails of assets in a CSV export, you can construct an embed code in a cell. This only works for released assets. The image will auto resize to fit the cell while retaining aspect ratio.

The embed code formula to use looks like this:

For example, for this asset, you’d copy the embed ID in the embed link when sharing.

The resulting embed code for the spreadsheet would look like this:

Exports are available on the Exports page for up to two weeks from the date you create them.  
  
Acquia DAM admins should enable the Export Search Results to CSV - Comma or Semicolon feature on the [Features page](What-are-the-available-features-and-their-permissions) for you to export data. To export search results in a PDF format, admins can contact the DAM Customer Support team.
