You can gather insights data about asset views and downloads from the [reports created](https://docs.acquia.com/acquia-dam/how-do-i-create-insights-report?previewMode=current) in the **Insights app**. Reports also include assets in collections embedded within portals.

Exporting reports provides more detailed information for data analysis.

To view the total number of views for a specific portal, use the **Portals app** to display the number of times the portal was viewed within a selected date range.  
The Portals app does not include individual asset view counts.
