### Activity feed role permissions

Administrator account users now have granular control over dashboard visibility with role-based permissions for the Activity Feed. This was previously a global setting. The feed now is hidden for specific user groups to reduce distractions and streamline the UI.

Customer benefits

* Tailored dashboards: Admins can hide the activity feed for specific roles to create a more focused user experience.
* Optimized layouts: For users without feed access, the dashboard automatically expands to fill the available space and maintains a clean UI design.
* Seamless transition: All existing roles retain access by default. Administrator account users "opt-out" specific roles as needed.

### EOL for Media Acquia DAM module

The legacy Media Acquia DAM module on drupal.org is deprecated on March 2, 2026. You must migrate to the Acquia DAM 1.1.x module to ensure continued support and access to new features.

Note

If you encounter migration-related issues beyond the 2 March 2026 end-of-life, Acquia continues to assist with finding solutions. Contact Acquia Support for additional assistance.

Customer benefits

* Consolidated workflows: A dedicated migration path moves all assets and metadata into a single module to enhance system efficiency.
* Flexible serving: Select between serving assets through the Content Delivery Network (CDN) or your local Drupal file system.
* Future-proofing: Ensure your integration remains compatible with future Drupal releases and security updates.
