When the asset insights feature is enabled, you can efficiently and easily [gather data](/acquia-dam/what-data-can-i-see-asset-insights "What data can I see in asset insights?") about a single asset, including how much it's being used, how it's being used, where it’s being viewed, and its use history. See how others are interacting with that asset, then use that knowledge to create similar assets for future promotional campaigns, blog posts, websites, videos – really, anywhere!

To find asset insights, go to Asset Digest and click **Insights** to open the modal.

Note that asset insights is an extension of the Insights app. With asset insights, you can see what’s happening with an individual asset. Also, Asset Insights data is refreshed once per day each night. The data will show up the following day in Asset Insights.

  
Features and permissions

The asset insights feature must be enabled to view and export asset insights. Admins can enable it on the [Features page](What-are-the-available-features-and-their-permissions).  
  
To allow users to see asset insights, admins should also enable the Access Asset Insights Detail [permission](What-does-each-permission-mean).
