The first thing you'll see when you log into the Acquia DAM (Widen) is the dashboard. The dashboard is the site's home page and a launchpad for discovering all the great content available to you. DAM admins can post welcome messages, brand guidelines, and other information to highlight your brand, and you can search for and review asset activity and quickly upload assets.

[Roles](How-do-I-create-roles) and [permissions](What-does-each-permission-mean) are respected in the DAM, so you won't see zones assets you don't have permission to view on the dashboard.

Return to the dashboard from anywhere in the site by clicking the site logo or by using the Activity menu. You can also use the menu to quickly access other pages in the site.

Rearrange zones on the dashboard
--------------------------------

Rearrange zones on the dashboard by dragging and dropping them within their respective columns. Dashboard messages, spotlight collections, and spotlight categories zones can be rearranged with that column and uploads and activity feed zones can be rearranged within that column.  
  
When you log out and log back in to your browser, the zones will remain in your chosen location.

Rearrange within spotlight searches and spotlight collections
-------------------------------------------------------------

You can rearrange spotlight searches and spotlight collections within their respective zones on the dashboard by dragging and dropping. Click the search or collection preview to drag it to the new location within the zone.
