Use the following steps to apply taxonomy terms to content:

1.  [Access your site](/node/69836#access-a-site).
    
2.  In the left sidebar, click **CMS**.
3.  Do one of the following based on your requirement:
    *   To create a new content type, click **Add content** and select the content type.
    *   To edit an existing content item, click **Edit** in the dropdown corresponding to the content item.
4.  In the resulting content form, find the Taxonomy reference field.
5.  Select applicable terms from the available vocabularies.
    
    Multiple terms can be applied if the field allows multiple values.
    
    The following are the ways to associate terms with content:
    
    *   **Manual tagging**: Editors select relevant terms when creating content.
    *   **Automatic tagging**: Rules or AI suggestions based on content analysis.
    *   **Bulk tagging**: Applying terms to multiple content items at once.
    *   **Term inheritance**: Child content inherits terms from parent content.
6.  Click **Save**.
