Use the following steps to configure site settings for your site:

1.  [Access your site](/node/69836#access-a-site).
2.  In the left sidebar, click **Configuration** > **System** > **Site settings**.
3.  Configure the following fields to adjust the default configuration:
    *   **Site Name**: Site name displayed in the browser title bar, search results, emails, and headers/footers.
        *   Keep concise and descriptive.
            
        *   Avoid special characters.
            
        *   Reflect your brand identity.
            
    *   **Favicon**: Small icon displayed in browser tabs and bookmarks.
        *   Use square image (16×16 or 32×32 pixels).
            
        *   Use .ico, .png, or .svg formats.
            
        *   Ensure it is recognizable at small sizes.
            
    *   **Logo Image**: Primary visual representation of your brand.
        
        *   Use PNG or SVG with transparency.
            
        *   Keep around 200-400px wide.
            
        *   Prepare dark or light versions if needed.
            
    *   **Email Address**: System email sender address.
        
        *   Use a valid monitored address.
            
        *   Consider a specific department address.
            
    *   **Default Front Page**: Homepage for your site.
        
        *   Choose a content-rich entry point.
            
        *   Consider user journey starting point.
            
    *   **Error Pages**: Custom 403/404 error page content.
        
        *   Maintain brand consistency.
            
        *   Provide helpful navigation options.
            
4.  Click **Save configuration**.
