Content scheduling in Acquia Source enables you to automate the publication and unpublication of content.

Use the following steps to enable scheduling for a content type:

1.  [Access your site](/node/69836#access-a-site).
    
2.  In the left sidebar, click **Structure** > **Content types**.
3.  Select the content type that you want to configure.
4.  Click the **Scheduler** tab.
5.  In the **Publishing** and **Unpublishing** areas, configure the available options.
6.  Click **Save**.
    
    After content scheduling is enabled, content edit forms include scheduling options that allow you to automate the publication and unpublication process:
    
    *   Publish On: Specify the exact date and time when the content should automatically be published.
    *   Publish State: Define the state of the content upon publication. For example, **Published**.
    *   Unpublish On: Set the date and time for when the content should be automatically unpublished.
    *   Unpublish State: Define the state of the content upon publication. For example, **Archived**.
