Use the following steps to make a content type translatable:

1.  [Access your site](/node/69836#access-a-site).
    
2.  In the left sidebar, click **Structure** > **Content types**.
3.  Select the content type that you want to make translatable.
4.  Click the **Language settings** tab.
5.  Enable the **Enable translation** toggle.
6.  Click **Save**.
7.  In the left sidebar, click **Configuration** > **Region and language** > **Content language and translation**.
8.  Check the content types and fields that must be translatable.
9.  Click **Save**.
