The Sites Dashboard provides the option to initiate a request to export a site with its codebase, files and database.

Use the following steps to initiate a request to export a site:

1.  Log in to [Acquia Source](https://source.acquia.com/) to open the Sites Dashboard.
    
2.  On the **Sites** tab, locate the site that you want to export.
3.  Click the Kebab menu icon on the site card.
4.  Select **Export Site**.
5.  In the confirmation dialog box, click **Request**.
