This page describes the new Service Level Objective (SLO) monitoring, alerting, and reporting features for key Campaign Studio processes. SLOs ensure that Campaign Studio maintains high standards for reliability and performance, providing a consistent user experience.

Overview
---------

Service Level Objectives (SLOs) define measurable targets for a service's performance, which is tracked through Service Level Indicators (SLIs). SLOs are vital in order to guarantee service reliability and ensure that internal and external service commitments are met. By focusing on customer-impacting metrics, SLOs help balance the development of new features with platform stability.

* Service Level Indicator (SLI): A quantitative measurement of a service's performance or reliability, such as the fraction of successful requests or latency.
* Service Level Objective (SLO): A target value for an SLI over a specific period. For example, time to generate campaign membership.
