Before you start using Site Studio, you must configure how images are to be managed. Site Studio supports the [IMCE](https://www.drupal.org/project/imce) and [Entity Browser](https://www.drupal.org/project/media_entity_browser) contributed modules for managing images.

To configure Site Studio to use a specific media browser, navigate to **Site Studio** > **Configuration** > **System settings**. The options shown depend on the media browser modules you have enabled. For more details, see [Image and media browsers](/drupal-starter-kits/add-ons/site-studio/image-and-media-browsers "Image and media browsers").

Important

Set the browsers to be used for **configuration entities** and **content**. Images used within configuration must not use media entities as these are content. For this reason, Acquia recommends that you use IMCE for managing images used by configuration as these are simple files.
