Use the entity browser element to add entities using the selected entity browser to your layout.

Locating the entity browser element
-----------------------------------

To find the Entity browser element: 

1.  Navigate to a component or a template with the Layout canvas
2.  Click the **\+ button** on the Layout canvas
3.  Within the Elements tab, look for the Entity browser element.

The Entity browser element includes the following fields:

Entity browser
--------------

*   **Entity browser type** - Set the entity browser to use when browsing for an entity
*   **Entity type** - Set the entity type to browse
*   **Entity bundle** Select the entity bundles to restrict the entity browser to
*   **Entity browser** - Click the 'Browse' button to open the Entity browser and select an entity to render on the Layout canvas.

View mode
---------

*   **Entity view mode** - Select the view mode you would like the entity to use when displaying on the page.

Comments
--------

*   **Add comments -** Add comments to the Element.  For more information, see [Adding comments to an element](/drupal-starter-kits/add-ons/site-studio/adding-comments-element "Adding comments to an element").
