Acquia uses two status pages to communicate updates:

1.  The [Acquia Status](http://status.acquia.com) page provides the latest information about emergency maintenance, platform-wide service interruptions, and security issues affecting any of the major Acquia platforms and products.
2.  The [Acquia Maintenance](https://maintenance.acquia.com) page provides the latest information about scheduled maintenance for Acquia products and services.

Each of these pages provides separate notifications for their respective subscribers. You must subscribe to each page individually to receive the notifications for each respective page.

The following are the supported communication methods for subscribing to the **Acquia Status** or **Acquia Maintenance** page:

*   Email
*   SMS
*   Slack (Acquia Status only)
*   Atom or RSS feeds (Acquia Status only)

You can subscribe to individual components, individual incidents, or all notifications to receive updates appropriate for your website. By default, you are automatically subscribed to all product/service notifications. You must customize your notifications during the subscribing process to select notifications for specific products/services. 

Subscribing to Notifications
----------------------------

*   To subscribe to Acquia Status for operational status updates, complete these steps on [Acquia Status](https://status.acquia.com/).
*   To subscribe to Acquia Maintenance for scheduled maintenance notifications, complete these steps on [Acquia Maintenance](https://maintenance.acquia.com/).

The following tabs list the steps for each of the communication methods:

### Email notifications

1.  On the respective page, click **Subscribe to Updates**.
2.  Click the tab with the Email icon.
3.  In the text box, enter the email address.
4.  Click **Subscribe via Email**.
5.  Complete the reCAPTCHA challenge.
6.  In the **Components** section, select your checkboxes.
7.  Click **Save.**
8.  Navigate to your email inbox.
9.  Locate the email from support@acquia.com.
10.  Open the email and click **Confirm subscription**.

### SMS Notifications

1.  On the respective page, click **Subscribe to Updates**.
2.  Click the tab with the Phone icon.
3.  Select your **Country Code**.
4.  Enter your **Phone number**.
5.  Click **Subscribe via Text Message**.
6.  Complete the reCAPTCHA challenge.
7.  In the **Components** section, select your checkboxes.
8.  Click **Save.**
9.  Check your SMS notifications.
10.  Reply `Yes` to confirm.

### U.S. subscribers vs. non-U.S. subscribers

Subscribers with U.S. phone numbers must reply `Yes`. Non-U.S. numbers are subscribed via long-code and do not require a reply.

### Slack notifications (Acquia Status only)

1.  On the [Acquia Status](http://status.acquia.com) page, click **Subscribe to Updates**.
2.  Click the tab with the Slack logo.
3.  Click **Subscribe via Slack**.
4.  Enter your credentials to allow permissions.
5.  Select the Slack channel.
6.  Select which components to be notified about.

Important

If subscribing to a private channel, you must invite the Statuspage app to that channel.

### RSS or Atom Feed (Acquia Status only)

1.  On the respective page, click **Subscribe to Updates**.
2.  Click the tab with the Radio icon.
3.  Click the hyperlink for Atom Feed or RSS Feed.

Updating preferences for Acquia Status or Acquia Maintenance
------------------------------------------------------------

After subscribing to the Acquia Status/Maintenance page, you can update preferences for email and SMS notifications.

The following tabs list the steps to update preferences for email and SMS notifications:

### Email notifications

1.  On the respective page, click **Subscribe to Updates**.
2.  Click the tab with the Email icon.
3.  In the text box, enter the email address subscribed for notifications.
4.  Click **Subscribe via Email**.
    
    The system displays a message at the top of the page indicating that an OTP is sent to the subscribed email address.
    
5.  Navigate to the inbox of the email address.
6.  Locate the email from [support@acquia.com](mailto:support@acquia.com) titled "\[Acquia, Inc.\] Your OTP".
7.  Note down the OTP from the email.
8.  On the respective page, click **Subscribe to Updates**.
9.  In the **Email Address** field, enter the email address subscribed for notifications.
10.  In the **Enter** **OTP** field, enter the OTP received in the email.
11.  Click **Verify** **and Update**.
     
     The system redirects you to the subscription management page on Acquia Status/Maintenance where you can:
     
     *   Unsubscribe from email notifications by clicking **Unsubscribe from updates**.
     *   Modify your preferences for receiving email notifications for Acquia products or services by selecting or clearing the checkbox for the respective product or service.
12.  Click **Save**.
     
     The system displays a message at the top of the page confirming that your preferences are updated.
     

### SMS notifications

1.  On the phone number subscribed for notifications, find a recent SMS notification from Acquia Status/Maintenance.
2.  Open the notification and locate the unsubscribe link.
    
    All SMS notifications from Acquia Status/Maintenance include an unsubscribe link at the end.
    
3.  Click the unsubscribe link.
    
    The system redirects you to the subscription management page on Acquia Status/Maintenance where you can:
    
    *   Unsubscribe from SMS notifications by clicking **Unsubscribe from updates**.
    *   Modify your preferences for receiving SMS notifications for Acquia products or services by selecting or clearing the checkbox for the respective product or service.
4.  Click **Save**.
    
    The system displays a message at the top of the page confirming that your preferences are updated.
    

Unsubscribing from Acquia Status/Maintenance updates
----------------------------------------------------

To unsubscribe from Acquia Status/Maintenance notifications:

1.  On the respective page, click **Subscribe to Updates**.
2.  Complete the OTP process based on your existing subscription to view the **Manage notifications** page.
3.  Clear the checkboxes for the Acquia products for which you no longer want to receive notifications.
    *   To select of all the checkboxes, click **Select all**.
    *   To clear all the checkboxes, click **Select none**.
4.  Click **Update Preferences**.
