The **Administration** area of the Site Factory Management Console enables users with the [platform admin](/site-factory/manage/users/admin) role to configure global settings that affect all of your Site Factory-hosted websites.

Managing your settings
----------------------

Users with the [platform admin](/site-factory/manage/users/admin) role can manage global settings by performing the following steps:

1.  [Sign in](/site-factory/login) to the Site Factory Management Console.
    
2.  In the top menu, click **Administration**.
    
3.  Scroll to the **Site Factory management** section, and then click the preference that you want to view or modify.

The Administration page allows you to configure the following attributes of your platform:

*   [Centralized role management](/site-factory/manage/preferences/centralized): Assign [roles](users/admin.html) to users on hosted websites based on their Site Factory Management Console roles.
    
*   [Cron jobs](/site-factory/manage/preferences/tasks): View, edit, and add cron jobs to manage automated tasks on your websites.

*   [Installation profile management](/site-factory/manage/preferences/profiles): Select which [installation profiles](/site-factory/workflow/profiles) website creators can select for use when creating a website.
