Note

These steps explain the process in the new navigation. If you are not subscribed to the Web Governance Limited Access program, these steps may differ from your view. Contact support to join the Limited Access program. All customers will automatically receive the update after the general rollout.

Introduction
------------

This document provides information about the navigation within Acquia Web Governance Accessibility.

To navigate to Web Governance Accessibility:

1.  Log in to your Web Governance instance. For more information, visit [Log in and access](/node/94751).
2.  Click **Accessibility**, an icon of a human with outstretched arms, on the main menu bar.

Accessibility summary
---------------------

This page is the dashboard for Web Governance Accessibility.

The page displays accessibility issues as found by the scan in a number of different views, separated on the page into the following sections:

*   ### Accessibility score
    
    *   **Exclude assisted checks**: Turn this option **ON** to exclude assisted checks from the results. Assisted checks cannot be verified by the scan, and must be resolved by a human.
    *   **Accessibility score including assisted checks**: This number displays the percentage of checks, including assisted checks, that your website passes.   
        Note: If you turned on the option to exclude assisted checks, the system displays the percentage of checks that your website passes with those checks excluded.
    *   **Industry standard**: This number indicates how well, compared to other companies within your industry, your website complies with accessibility standards.   
        Note: The industry standard score is unavailable when you turn on the option to exclude assisted checks.
*   ### Compliance by level
    
    *   **Exclude assisted checks**: Turn this option **ON** to exclude assisted checks from the results. Assisted checks cannot be verified by the scan, and must be resolved by a human.
    *   Compliance by level including assisted checks
    *   Level: This indicates the level of WCAG compliance that was selected during Accessibility setup
        *   Done: The number of checks that have been marked as resolved since the last scan.
        *   To fix: The number of checks that need to be resolved.
*   ### Automated checks with high impact
    
    These are checks that are verified as failed by the scan. These failed checks have the highest impact on overall accessibility health.
    
    *   **View issues by type**: Click to navigate to the Accessibility issues by type page, where you can sort the issue types:
        *   **Automated checks**: These are accessibility checks that the scan is able to accurately identified as failing.
        *   **Assisted checks**: These are accessibility checks that cannot be determined by the scan and need a human review.
        *   **Ignored checks**: These are the failing checks that have been marked **Ignore** by a user. The scan does not consider these checks.
    *   The list contains the following columns:
        *   **Check**: The name of the failing check. Click the link to view all instances of this failing issue.
        *   **Affected pages**: The number of pages that contain this issue.
        *   **Severity**: The severity of the issue, determined by the number of pages that it appears on and the number of visits for that page.
*   ### Pages demanding attention
    
    These pages have the highest number of issues.
    
    *   **View issues by page**: Click to navigate to the Accessibility issues by page view, where you can view the following:
        *   **Page**: The page title
        *   **URL**: A link to the page
        *   **Page views (30 days)**: The number of views the page has received in the past 30 days
        *   **Issues**: The number of accessibility issues on the page
        *   **Labels**: All labels applied to the page
        *   **Open in**: Click **Extension** to open the page with the Web Governance Browser Extension, where you can highlight the issues on the page.
    *   The chart provides an overview of pages with errors, with the following columns:
        *   **Page**: A link to the page
        *   **Issues**: The number of accessibility issues on the page
*   ### Trends 
    
    *   Click **Visit History Center** to view issues over time
    *   Date range: Select a date range
    *   Export: Click to export accessibility trends in .csv format
    *   Click **How is accessibility score calculated** for more information about how the system calculates the accessibility score.
    *   **Exclude assisted checks**: Turn this option **ON** to exclude assisted checks from the results.
    *   **Accessibility score**: This number displays your overall accessibility score, up to 100%, which indicates a perfect score.   
        Note: If you turned on the option to exclude assisted checks, the system displays the percentage of checks that your website passes with those checks excluded.
    *   **Industry standard**: This number indicates how well, compared to other companies within your industry, your website complies with accessibility standards.   
        Note: The industry standard score is unavailable when you turn on the option to exclude assisted checks.
    *   Graph: View the following information in a timeline:
        *   Accessibility score
        *   Industry standard

Expand the Accessibility menu and select from the following options.

*   Summary
*   Issues by type
*   Issues by page
*   Fast track
*   PDFs

Summary
-------

Select this option from the menu on the left to return to the _Accessiblity summary_ page.

Issues by type
--------------

Select this option from the menu on the left.

You can take the following actions on this page:

*   Tabs
    *   **Automated checks**: Filter for automated checks. These are confirmed issues by the scan.
    *   **Assisted checks**: Filter for assisted checks. These are checks that the scan could not evaluate. These need a human review.
    *   **Ignored checks**: Filter for ignored checks. These are checks that have been reviewed by a human and determined to have no fixable errors.
*   **Search**: Search for specific issue names.
*   **Filter**: Filter for the following:
    *   Level
    *   Role
    *   Label
    *   Severity
*   **Edit columns**: Choose to show or hide table colums.
*   **Export**: Export the current view in .csv format.

Table columns

*   **Check**: The name of the failing check. Click the link to view all instances of this failing issue.
*   **Level**: The WCAG criteria level.
*   **Labels**: All labels applied to the page. Click the + icon to add a label.
*   **Role**: The typical role within an organization whose members have the competencies needed to resolve the issue.
*   **Severity**: The severity of the issue, Low, Medium, or High.
*   **Pages**: The number of pages affected by this failing issue.
*   **Actions**: Depending upon the tab selected, the options are:
    *   Automated checks: Ignore this check
    *   Assisted checks: Mark as fixed
    *   Ignored checks: Restore this check

Issues by page
--------------

Select this option from the menu on the left.

You can take the following actions on this page:

*   **Search**: Search for specific issue names.
*   **Filter**: Filter for the following:
    *   Level
    *   Role
    *   Labels
    *   Severity
*   **Edit columns**: Choose to show or hide table colums.
*   **Export**: Export the current view in .csv format.

Table columns

*   **Page**: The page name, click the link to navigate to the page view for a list of all issues on the page.
*   **URL**: The URL for the page, click the link to view the page on the internet.
*   **Page views (30 days)**: The number of views the page has received in the past 30 days.
*   **Issues**: The number of accessibility issues on the page.
*   **Labels**: All labels applied to the page. Click the + icon to add a label.
*   **Open in**: On the same row as a page, click **Extension** to open the page in the browser extension.

Fast track
----------

Select this option from the menu on the left.

You can take the following actions on this page:

*   **Search**: Search for specific file names.

Table columns:

*   **Failing code**: Click **Show more** for the full code snippet and the option to copy to clipboard.
*   **Effect on score**: The percentage of improvement you can expect on your overall PDF compliance score if you repair the issue.
*   **Action**: Click **View affected checks** for the following detailed information about the failing check:
    *   **Affected checks for code**: The full code snippet with the option to copy to clipboard.
    *   Effect on score: The field provides the following insights: Resolving this code will reduce the gap between your current score and 100% compliance by (percentage shown).
    *   **Affected pages**: The number of pages where this code is present across the domain.
    *   **Failing checks**: The number of failing checks for this code.

*   **Check**: The name of the failing check. Click the link to view all instances of this failing issue.
*   **Pages impacted**
*   **Level**
*   **Role**
*   **Severity**
