This document provides instructions on how to migrate from another service to Web Governance.

First steps
-----------

Follow the steps outlined in [Initial configuration](/node/60341), with the following deviations:

### Domain Groups import

For this step, it is possible to request a bulk upload of your existing domain groups. You must do an export of your existing domain groups and send it to your Web Governance customer service representative.
Steps:

1. Export your domain groups from your previous supplier. The export should look something like this:

![A sample export, as it may look when downloaded from another provider.](https://acquia.widen.net/content/18b8b950-8d63-4368-adec-4e469d3400e4/web/Mon_Opt_ExampleExport.png)

2. Prepare the file and send it to Web Governance in an Excel, Google Sheets, or .csv file. The following fields are the ones that need to be in the .csv upload to Web Governance:
    * Group Name --> Group Name
    *   Match Type --> URL
    * Match Type --> That “contains, exactly...”
    * Match Conditions --> Match Rule
    *   True/False --> Included/Excluded

For more information, visit [Create and configure groups](https://docs.acquia.com/acquia-optimize/admin/setup/groups).

### Dictionary import

1. Export your dictionary from your previous supplier.
2. Prepare the file with the following 3 column headers.
    * **Word**: The word to add to the dictionary.
    * **Decision**: Specify if the word is **Approved for Site** or **Dictionary**.
    * **Language**: The language that the words should be added to, for example, American English, Spanish (Spain), and so on.
        * Provide a separate sheet for each language.

            Word

            Decision

            Language

            ExampleWord1

            Dictionary

            American English

            ExampleWord2

            Dictionary

            American English

3. Send the file to your Web Governance customer service representative.

Misspelled words import
-----------------------

Similar to the Dictionary export, do an export for the previous misspelled words list and send it to Web Governance in an Excel, Google Sheets, or .csv file with the following three column headers:

* **Word**: The word to add to the Confirmed Spelling Errors list.
* **Decision**: Specify that the word is a **Misspelling**.
* **Language**: The language that the words should be added to, for example, American English, Spanish (Spain), and so on.
    * Provide a separate sheet for each language.

        Word

        Decision

        Language

        Misspelling1

        Confirmed spelling error
