Introduction
------------

Notes

*   The scan disregards any `<meta>` elements in the spellcheck. Misspellings in the meta description are not identified by the scan. These need to be checked manually for spelling errors.
*   The scan detects misspelled words in the primary language of the page by default. If the page language is not written in the primary language of the domain, words on the page can be marked as potential misspellings (if they are not found in the dictionary), even if they are correctly spelled in the language of origin. Use the _Use Language Attribute_ function in domain configuration to avoid this. For more information, read [Add, edit, or remove domains](/node/58451).

The Misspellings module displays confirmed spelling errors. This document provides an introduction to the Misspellings page, which contains a list of misspelled words. 

Navigation
----------

To navigate directly to the Misspellings view, follow these steps:

1.  Log in to your Web Governance account.
2.  Select the domain that you want to work with.
3.  Expand the left menu bar if the options are not visible.
4.  Click **Content Quality** to expand the menu.
5.  Click **Misspellings**.
6.  Select **Misspellings**.

The dashboard contains these features:

*   Tabs:
    *   **All**
    *   **Language** (one for each language detected)
*   **Play** button
*   **Export** button
*   **Filter** button
*   **Search** field
*   Table columns
    *   **Selector button**
    *   **Word**
    *   **PageCorrect**
    *   **Lookup in Google button**
    *   **Language**
    *   **Pages**
*   Row buttons:
    *   **Action** button

User actions
------------

*   Tabs: Click a tab to filter the results list.
    *   **All**
    *   **Language** (one for each language detected)
*   **Play**: Click **Play** to automate misspelled words handling to save time.
*   **Export**: Click **Export** above the results list. For instructions, read [How to do an export](/node/99471).
*   **Filter**: Click the **Filter** button to view the filter options and select an option:
    *   Labels
*   **Search**: Type a search string into the search text box to locate a specific page title or URL.
*   Table actions
    *   **Selector button**: Tick to select multiple words.
    *   **Word**: Click the arrow to sort the column ascending or descending.
    *   **PageCorrect**: Click to open the word in PageCorrect. For instructions, read [How to use PageCorrect](/node/58966).
    *   **Lookup in Google**: Click the **G** icon to look up the word in Google, where you can hear the pronunciation and read the definition.
    *   **Language**: The language surrounding the word.
    *   **Pages**: Click the arrow to sort the column ascending or descending.
*   Row buttons:
    *   **Action**: Click to select an action to do on the word:
        *   **Add to dictionary**: For more information, read [Dictionary](/node/58796).
        *   **Add to dictionary for all languages**: For more information, read [Dictionary](/node/58796).
        *   **Ignore misspelling**
        *   **Mark as fixed**
