Introduction
------------

This collection provides guidelines on how to use Acquia Web Governance Search Engine Optimization (**SEO**) feature to improve search engine ranking and information about other optimization opportunities.

Web Governance SEO highlights opportunities that exist across website pages and assigns a priority level to the issues. In the platform, you can click any issue for a summary of the recommendation.

Find SEO errors such as:

*   Missing header tags
*   META description improvement suggestions
*   Images missing ALT text

Use the menu on the left to view the articles in this collection.

Navigation
----------

1.  Log in to your Web Governance account.
2.  Select the domain that you want to work with.
3.  Expand the left menu bar if the options are not visible.
4.  Click **SEO Issues**.
5.  Select:
    *   **Summary**: For more information, read _SEO Summary_ from the menu on the left.
    *   **Issues by Page**: For more information, read _SEO Issues by Page_ from the menu on the left.
    *   **Issues by Type**: For more information, read _SEO Issues by Type_ from the menu on the left.
