Introduction
------------

This is the Site Inventory landing page. This document describes the _Site Inventory Summary_ page and user actions.

Navigation
----------

1.  Log in to your Web Governance account.
2.  Select the domain that you want to work with.
3.  Expand the left menu bar if the options are not visible.
4.  Click **Insights**.
5.  Click **Site Inventory**.
6.  Select **Summary**.

Landing page
------------

This is the dashboard for Site Inventory Summary. This page shows all inventory on the current domain. The Site Inventory Summary page is divided into three sections:

*   Inventory History
*   Technical
*   Links
*   Content

### Inventory History section

This section contains a graph that shows the number of website assets, images, and crawled pages over time.

### Technical section

This section contains an overview of the number of technical website assets:

*   CSS
*   Javascript
*   Frames
*   IFrames

### Links section

This section contains an overview of the number and types of links:

*   Image links
*   Content links
*   Spreadsheet links
*   Word links
*   Slide links

### Content section

This section contains an overview of the types of content:

*   HTML Pages
*   Documents

User actions
------------

### Inventory History section user actions

*   Hover over the points on each line for more information about the data point.

### Technical section user actions

*   **CSS, JavaScript, Frames, IFrames**: Select an item in the section to navigate to the details page. 
    *   Filter the page for Internal or External pages.
    *   **Export**: Click **Export** (a download icon) above the results list. For more information, visit [How to do an export](/node/99471).
    *   **Search**: Type a search string into the search text box to locate a specific page title or URL.
    *   **URL**: Click the link to view the page.
    *   **Pages**: Click the number to navigate to the Pages with this (type) page.
        *   Tabs: Select **Internal** or **External** to filter the results.
        *   **URL**: Click the link to view the page details.
        *   Click the **Open page details** icon to view the Pages with this (type) page. 
            *   **Title and URL**: Click the link to navigate to the Page Details view.
            *   **Views**: See the visit count for the page.
            *   **Open page details**: Click for more information about the page.

### Links section user actions

Click the number for each item for more details:

*   Image links
*   Content links  
    The Content Links count in the Inventory Module shows the number of links to PDF files. Not to be confused with PDF files that are internal and present on the site. For example, the inventory may state a higher number of PDF links when compared to the Accessibility module PDF file count.
*   Spreadsheet links
*   Word links
*   Slide links

You can do the following actions:

*   Filter the list for **Internal** or **External** image links.
*   **Export**: Click **Export** (a download icon) above the results list. For more information, visit [How to do an export](/node/99471).
*   **Search**: Type a search string into the search text box to locate a specific page title or URL.
*   Table columns:
    *   **URL**: Click the link to view the broken image response.
    *   **Open metadata view**: Click the i icon to view the image preview and metadata.
    *   **Pages**: Click the number in the Pages column for a list of pages that contain the image.
        *   **Link**: Click the link under the page heading to view the broken image.
        *   **Export**: Click the Export icon to do an export of the data.
        *   **Search**: Type a search string into the search text box to locate a specific page title or URL.
        *   Table:
            *   **Title and URL**: Click the link to navigate to the Page Details view. 
            *   **Views**: See the visit count for the page.
            *   **Open page details**: Click to open the Page Details view.

### Content section user actions

Click the number to go to the Content page for the type of content:

*   **HTML Pages**
*   **Documents**

Note

PDF files do not appear in this section if they are included in a domain group and if their own URL does not match the rules of the domain group as specified during the setup of the group.  
PDF files are still visible in these places:

*   `Page details`
*   `Inventory > Content > Links`.
