Installation
------------

This section provides instructions on how to install the web browser extension on different browsers.

_Tip_: When you open the application, the option and links to add the extension are listed on the right side of the page. It is easier to add the extension in that way.

### Install in Chrome

1. Navigate to the extension in the [Chrome Webstore](https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/monsido-extension/ggdpnefhigjoocdbalmhohmohjngdnfn).
2. Click **Add to Chrome**, on the top right side of the page.
3. A pop-up verification opens. Click **Add Extension**. The pop-up closes.
4. Add the extension icon to the Chrome menu bar, if it does not appear automatically.

Note

If this is the first time that you have used the Chrome Web Store to install extensions on the device, a blue message appears, informing you that you can now install extensions from the Chrome Web Store in Microsoft Edge. Click **Allow extensions from other stores** and then click **Allow** in the pop-up notice.

### Install in Edge (Chromium)

Microsoft introduced a newer version of the Edge browser based on Chromium, which allows users to install the same extensions in Edge as are available in Chrome and other Chromium-based browsers. To check which version of Edge you use, visit [Microsoft Edge Guide](https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4027011/microsoft-edge-find-out-which-version-you-have).

1. Navigate to the extension in [Microsoft Edge Add-ons](https://microsoftedge.microsoft.com/addons/detail/new-monsido-extension/aaonemfoehnjhmmgkmaogpeghonhgcfb).
2. Click **Get**, on the top right side of the page.
3. A pop-up verification opens. Click **Add Extension**. The pop-up closes.
4. Add the extension icon to the Edge menu bar, if it does not appear automatically.

Note

The application requires Edge version 79.0.309 or higher. Older versions are not based on Chromium. If an older version is installed, update to a newer Edge version or use Chrome instead.
