This document outlines the language support features available in ProctorU, which is Acquia's proctoring partner for secure online exams.
Live chat assistance¶
In your ProctorU account, you can use the Live Chat option and get assistance from the ProctorU Support team in any of the following languages:
German and Japanese will be available soon.
Setting your preferred language¶
To set your preferred language in your ProctorU account:
- Log in to your account.
Navigate to Account Settings.
In the Preferred Language dropdown, select your preferred language from the following available options:
- English
- French (Canada)
- German
- Japanese
- Spanish
Language on exam pre-checks and Guardian Secure Browser¶
The preferred language set in your ProctorU account controls the language for the pre-check screens and Guardian Secure Browser. You can also change your preferred language during the first step of the pre-checks screen.
The language set on your computer controls the language outside of the pre-check screens. This might include menu options and pop-up messages within the Guardian Secure Browser.
