Acquia Search with Solr 7 - December 9, 2021

  • Fix The Acquia Search with Solr 7 interface allowed users to create configsets with duplicate names.

  • Fix New index creation failed on Acquia Search with Solr 7 for tier 1 dedicated search instances.

Acquia Search with Solr 3/4 - September 29, 2021

  • Fix Newly created indexes on Acquia Search with Solr 3/4 were unable to connect to the attachment extraction service, which caused site indexing to fail.

Acquia Connector 7.x-3.8 - September 23, 2021

Use this Drupal module for all versions of Acquia Search on Drupal 7 when using the Apache Solr module. For more information, see Drupal.org release page (with download link).

  • Feature Acquia Connector supports PHP 7.4.

  • Feature Automatically create Solr server on installation of acquia_search.

  • Fix Solr URL did not get updated automatically if it was a different subscription.

  • Fix Acquia Search with Solr 7 cores are no longer overridden by $conf[“acquia_search_override_search_core”].

Search API Acquia 7.x-2.7 - September 23, 2021

Use this Drupal module for all versions of Acquia Search on Drupal 7 when using the Search API module. For more information, see Drupal.org release page (with download link).

  • Feature Search API supports PHP 7.4.

  • Feature Search API supports Solr 7 by default.

  • Fix File and field searches in the Solr 7 function did not work properly.

  • Fix An underscore in databases and Solr core names was causing issues.

Acquia Search with Solr 7 - August 26, 2021 (General Availability Release)

  • Change Acquia Search with Solr 7 is available for all Cloud Platform Enterprise, Site Factory, and Cloud Platform Professional applications, including meeting or exceeding all FedRAMP certification control requirements.

Acquia Connector 8.x-1.26 - March 31, 2021

  • Change Added the last version of the legacy connector that includes Acquia Search for Solr 3/4, using Search API Solr 8.x-1.7.

Important

Acquia Connector 8.x-1.26 is the last version that is compatible with unsupported versions of Drupal 8. Customers are strongly encouraged to update to Acquia Connector 3.x and Acquia Search 2.x to support Drupal 9 and Solr 3/4. For more information, see Drupal.org release page (with download link).

Acquia Search with Solr 7 - March 29, 2021 (Limited Availability Release 2)

  • Feature Acquia Search with Solr 7 supports Solr 7.7.3.

  • Feature Acquia Search with Solr 7 supports Drupal 9.

  • Feature Acquia Search with Solr 7 supports self-service index creation and management.

  • Feature Acquia Search with Solr 7 supports self-service custom Solr configset upload.

  • Change Connection to the Acquia Search with Solr 7 service now supports the Apache Solr Search and Acquia Search for Search API modules for Drupal 7, and the Acquia Search module for both Drupal 8 and Drupal 9.

  • Change Acquia Search with Solr 7 is available in the US-East-1, US-West-2, EU-West-1, AP-Southeast-1, and AP-Southeast-2 regions.
