Content Delivery Network (CDN) | A system of distributed servers that work together to deliver web content to users based on their geographic location. |
DNS (Domain Name System) Setup | Configuration related to the hierarchical and decentralized naming system that translates domain names to IP addresses. |
DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) Attacks | Attempts to make an online service unavailable by overwhelming it with traffic from multiple sources. |
Web Application Firewall (WAF) | A security solution that filters, monitors, and blocks HTTP traffic to protect web applications from security threats. |
SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) | A standard security protocol that establishes a secure connection between the web server and the browser. |
TXT Record | A type of Domain Name System (DNS) record used to associate text with a domain. |
DNS Propagation | The time it takes for DNS changes to be updated and recognized across the internet. |
Certificate Authorities (CAs) | Trusted entities that issue digital certificates verifying the identity of websites. |
SSL Certificates | Digital certificates that authenticate the identity of a website and enable secure data transmission. |
Hostname | A label assigned to a device connected to a computer network, used to identify the device. |
CNAME Record | A type of DNS record that maps an alias hostname to the true domain name (canonical name). |
User Roles | Designated roles with specific permissions and access levels for individuals interacting with a product. |
User Permissions | The specific actions and operations that users are allowed to perform within a product. |
User Authentication | The process of verifying the identity of users who access a product through authentication mechanisms. |
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) | An additional layer of security requiring users to provide multiple forms of identification before accessing a product. |
