Acquia Developer Studio Remote IDE – November 21, 2019

  • Feature The Get Started tab includes a Create Drupal 8 Project button for creating a Drupal 8 project.

  • Feature The Get Started tab now includes detailed instructions for using the command line to create a Drupal 8 project with Composer.

  • Change Remote IDE now provides a shortened bash prompt that allows users to both simplify the view for current line and better display the close button when viewing multiple terminals.

  • Change The settings.php workflow was updated to adhere to Drupal best practices.

  • Change Users no longer have to enter their SSH key password for every SSH-based action.

  • Fix When users ran the drush uli command, Remote IDE displayed an incorrect hostname.

  • Fix Remote IDE displayed an error message when users attempted to open PHP files.

  • Fix Attempts to write to the default.conf file failed.

  • Fix Users attempting to use headers for browsing caused Remote IDE to display error messages.

Acquia Developer Studio Cloud IDE – October 4, 2019

  • Change Acquia Cloud IDE now provides 60 GB of disk space.

  • Change Subscribers can now configure standard Drupal plugins in their Cloud IDE.

  • Fix Subscribers were unable to install Drupal after provisioning a new Remote IDE instance and installing the Lightning project.

This initial release of Acquia Developer Studio Remote IDE provides users with the following resources which remove your need to configure, run, and maintain a local Drupal development stack:

  • Feature Acquia Developer Studio now includes a browser-based integrated development environment (IDE).

  • Feature Acquia Developer Studio now includes a source code editor.

  • Feature The integrated development environment now includes an Cloud Platform-based Drupal development stack.
