Will my site be backed up before the upgrade starts?

Acquia takes disaster recovery snapshots in Cloud Platform at regular intervals, including hourly for the past four hours. After the upgrade is complete, the final version of your pre-upgrade file system and database continues to persist on your Cloud Classic infrastructure in an idle state for up to 7 days.
