What is LRU nuked?
Date Published: May 28, 2025
LRU nuked is the process through which less frequently accessed content items or LRU items are evicted to make way for recent content. This occurs if the memory usage is high. Varnish might consume more memory due to cache variation. For example, if a Drupal website hosted in Cloud Platform experiences a surge in requests, Varnish might start evicting less frequently accessed items to manage memory efficiently. This increases site performance and boosts memory usage.
