Issue¶

While adding website updates using the Cloud IDE, my browser automatically defaults to the HTTPS socket layer using the test domain *.web.ahdev.cloud.

Resolution¶

Acquia doesn't strictly enforce the redirecting of HTTP to HTTPS in our test URLs concerning your website. The HTTPS URL is Cloud IDE's default configuration when initializing the link. If a developer requires a HTTP testing environment by altering the browser URL to an HTTP request as in the example beneath will mitigate the problem.
