Cloud Platform - December 13, 2020 through December 19, 2020
- Fix When clicking rapidly between tabs on the Environment Logs page, the tabs were throwing a loading error.
- Fix The Applications section was updated for PCI compliance maintenance.
- Change The versions of Drush have been updated to 8.4.2 and 10.3.4.
Cloud Platform - December 06, 2020 through December 12, 2020
- Fix When a user was invited to join a Cloud Platform team, and the user did not yet have an Acquia account, that user was not prompted to create an account.
- Fix When setting Remote Administration Preferences in Cloud Platform UI using Firefox or Safari browsers, the Day/Time and Pause Until fields did not show a calendar.
- Fix In the Cloud Platform, the password reset function failed when an email address contained certain special characters.
- Fix Task logs were concatenated into a single line within Cloud UI, making them difficult to read.
Cloud Platform - November 29, 2020 through December 05, 2020
- Change Cloud Platform now adds email addresses to the Administrators and Team Administrators card to resolve instances where names are similar.
- Fix In Cloud Platform UI, linking from Manage section to Develop section was throwing a 404 error.
Cloud Platform - November 22, 2020 through November 28, 2020
- Change When downloading backups within Cloud Platform UI, a dialog box will show the backup’s URL. If the download doesn’t begin immediately, you can paste that URL into a new browser to initiate the download.
- Change Cloud Platform UI URL paths are now shorter.
- Fix In Cloud Platform, the invitation emails contained a link which resulted in a 404 error.
Cloud Platform - November 15, 2020 through November 21, 2020
- Change Cloud Platform now provides Team Management link on the Environments Page to navigate administrators to the relevant subscription page. This enables administrators to find the users who have access to an application.
- Change The informaton about IPv6 is now removed from Global and Regional DNS sections on the Domains Page.
- Change The Cloud Platform managed drush version has been updated to 8.3.2, which may impact customers utilizing Drupal 7 on the Cloud Platform.
Cloud Platform - November 8, 2020 through November 14, 2020
- Fix Cloud Platform was unable to add some log forwarding destinations.
Cloud Platform - October 25, 2020 through October 31, 2020
- Change Cloud Platform now has improved the UI for Stack Metrics, when Stack Metrics charts display several legend labels.
- Change Cloud Platform now has improved the filtering for Team Members on the Organization page.
Cloud Platform - October 18, 2020 through October 24, 2020
- Fix Cloud Enterprise subscribers can now edit the maximum input variable PHP setting on the Environment Configuration page.
Cloud Platform - October 11, 2020 through October 17, 2020
- Change Cloud Platform user interface and Cloud Platform API will now return a more appropriate error message when there’s a problem retrieving usage metrics.
- Change Node.js versions were updated to their latest releases: 6.17.1, 8.17.0, and 10.22.1. The Cloud Platform user interface now displays Node.js versions 6, 8, 10, 12, and 14 as major (first digit) only, so that we can provide security updates easily. Node.js minor updates are backwards compatible. Acquia recommends you to switch to versions 10, 12, or 14 as the support for 6 and 8 has ended last year, and they are not maintained anymore. - Change Some CNAMEs on the Cloud Platform edge layer have been updated with new ‘dualstack’ endpoints to provide both IPv4 and IPv6 compatibility moving forward.
- Fix Users were unable to move databases from CD environments to standard workflow environments.
Cloud Platform - October 4, 2020 through October 10, 2020
- Change You can’t delete a custom role on the Cloud Platform when an invite for that role is pending. The invite must be removed before the role can be deleted.
Cloud Platform - September 27, 2020 through October 3, 2020
- Change The following software included in the Cloud Platform are now available for PHP 7.4: FreeType, jpeg / libjpeg, ssh2, webp, xpm / libxpm.
- Change The option to select PHP 7.2 is no longer available in the environment configuration panel on the Cloud Platform user interface. The default PHP version is now 7.3.
- Change Site Factory subscribers can now rename their Site Factory Applications on the Cloud Platform user interface. Note that this will not change the name of that Site Factory Application on the Site Factory user interface.
- Change New Relic now supports PHP 7.4.
Cloud Platform - September 13, 2020 through September 19, 2020
- Feature The PHP extension for LDAP is now available for use with Cloud Platform containers.
- Fix For Cloud Platform subscribers with consumption-based pricing, the date picker on the Subscriptions page was not working properly.
- Fix The Cloud Platform user interface didn’t show the list of scheduled jobs in alphabetical order. This is fixed and the list of scheduled jobs is now displayed in alphabetical order.
- Fix Acquia Cloud Professional subscribers were getting an error while trying to activate a new SSL certificate when a current certificate was present on the Cloud Platform. This is fixed and the first certificate is now automatically disabled, when a second SSL certificate is enabled.
Cloud Platform - September 6, 2020 through September 12, 2020
- Change Cloud Platform applications have been updated to remove TLS 1.1, which has reached end-of-life. TLS 1.2 is now the default on all environments.
- Fix The link to claim a New Relic account on an environment’s configuration page was displaying a
404 Not Found

Cloud Platform - August 30, 2020 through September 5, 2020
- Feature The Cloud Platform user interface now has a new section called Enhance, accessible from the top navigation bar, which provides highlights on the included and premium features available to Cloud Platform subscribers.
- Change PHP versions were updated to 7.1.34-acquia4, 7.2.33, 7.3.21, 7.4.9.
Cloud Platform - August 23, 2020 through August 29, 2020
- Change Cloud Platform subscribers can now access the Cloud API using Single Sign-On (SSO). See Making API Calls through Single Sign-On.
- Fix Cloud API was returning a
500 Internal Server Error
instead of404 Not Found
status when an environment could be found.
Cloud Platform - August 16, 2020 through August 22, 2020
- Feature You can now use the Deploy on a specific Day/Time field to specify the date and time for RA to deploy the update tag created and approved during Step 2 of the RA update process.
- Fix Acquia Insight data was not getting displayed on the Cloud Platform user interface for applications hosted on platforms other than the Cloud Platform.
Cloud Platform - August 12, 2020
- Change Cloud Platform subscribers with FedRAMP applications and FIPS functionality enabled on their infrastructure will now default to using New Relic’s FedRAMP endpoints for APM data ingestion.
Cloud Platform - July 26, 2020 through August 1, 2020
- Change MySQL will be updated to version 5.7.29 on August 5, 2020. This version will be set as default for all new site provisions starting from August 5, 2020.
- Change Site Factory subscribers now have access to the environment configuration settings in the Cloud Platform user interface to modify a subset of their environment’s PHP settings.
Cloud Platform - July 19, 2020 through July 25, 2020
- Change The PHP configuration settings for Cloud Platform environments now allow new minimum and maximum values for
memory limit
,OPcache size
, andAPCu size
. - Change Customers participating in an Acquia beta program can now submit feedback through the Support ticketing system.
- Fix Using the Cloud Platform API to deactivate an active SSL certificate resulted in two notifications on the Cloud Platform user interface, instead of one.
Cloud Platform - July 12, 2020 through July 18, 2020
- Change The Organization or company field is now mandatory while Generating a certificate signing request (CSR) on the Cloud Platform user interface.
- Fix When adding a log forwarding destination on the Forward tab on the Logs page, users were required to enter the Private Key of the SSL certificate even though it is not a mandatory field.
Cloud Platform - July 5, 2020 through July 11, 2020
- Change The endpoint for downloading database backups was refactored to provide a notification ID for Cloud Platform API users to determine the status of long-running tasks.
- Fix Using JavaScript regular expressions to filter the Log Stream, didn’t return valid results.
- Fix Users having the Log Forwarding permission, but no permission to access the subscription information, couldn’t see the Log Forwarding tab on the Logs page.
Cloud Platform - June 28, 2020 through July 4, 2020
- Feature Site Factory subscribers can now upload multiple SSL certificates using the Cloud Platform user interface.
- Change Cloud Platform subscribers can now install and activate multiple SSL certificates on all environments. This feature isn’t available for Cloud Platform Professional subscribers.
- Change When viewing the details of a legacy certificate in the Cloud Platform user interface, the Private Key and Expires fields were displayed even if they were empty or
null
. - Change The endpoints for creating a log snapshot and updating a log forwarding destination were refactored to provide a notification ID for Cloud Platform API users to determine the status of long-running tasks.
- Change The Cloud Platform user interface now wraps log entries under the Stream tab on the Logs page. You no longer need to click the log entry to view details.
- Change In the Cloud Platform user interface, the filter field on the Download tab on the Logs page, was removed.
- Fix The
offset
parameter for the database backup endpoint caused the following error for some subscribers:You do not have permission to access this resource.

Cloud Platform - June 21, 2020 through June 27, 2020
- Change Cloud Platform was updated so that only subscribers with Cloud Platform Professional subscriptions can allocate memory to memcached in the Cloud Platform user interface. To change the memcache settings for other applications, contact Acquia support.
Cloud Platform - June 7, 2020 through June 13, 2020
- Feature Cloud Platform now displays Drupal 9 at the top of the list on the Install Distribution page.
- Change The Show examples toggle and its associated content were removed from the Drush Integration section of the Account Settings > Credentials page in the Cloud Platform user interface. Subscribers can still download Drush aliases from the Cloud Platform user interface. For information on downloading Drush aliases, and for examples, see Using Drush aliases.
- Change On the API Tokens page, the ID column was renamed to KEY.
- Change PHP versions were updated to 7.1.34, 7.2.31, 7.3.18, 7.4.6.
- Change The New Relic version was updated to version 9.10.1.263.
- Fix The Submit button in the Create API Token dialog box didn’t display correctly on small screens (such as a tablet).
Cloud Platform - May 31, 2020 through June 6, 2020
- Change Cloud Platform now supports Drupal 9 and Drush 10.
- Change The Cloud Platform API endpoint for creating cron jobs now accepts both the
cron UUID
andinteger ID
. - Fix The Stack Metrics page didn’t display information for some web servers.
- Fix For certain menu items, some Acquia Insight subscribers received an
access denied
message.
Cloud Platform - June 5, 2020
Important

Cloud Platform - May 24, 2020 through May 30, 2020
- Change Cloud Platform subscribers can now install and activate multiple SSL certificates on all environments. This feature isn’t available for Cloud Platform Professional subscribers.
- Fix The Stack Metrics Storage used bar for database metrics sometimes displayed an inaccurate consumption percentage.
- Fix The Insight page in the Cloud Platform user interface displayed websites for which data collection is paused.
Acquia Purge 8.x-1.1 - May 29, 2020
- Change The new release of Acquia Purge 8.x-1.1 now supports Drupal 9. Users moving to Drupal 9 must upgrade the module.
Cloud Platform - May 27, 2020
- Fix On environments provisioned after May 14, 2020, custom SSL certificates weren’t recognized for domains containing a hyphen.
Cloud Platform - May 17, 2020 through May 23, 2020
- Change Acquia Insight now displays alerts for Drupal 9 websites and earlier versions of Drupal.
- Change The endpoints for creating and deleting a certificate signing request were refactored to provide a notification ID for Cloud Platform API users to determine the status of the tasks.
- Change TLS 1.0 is no longer supported for the Node.js service. Acquia strongly recommends using TLS 1.2 or later.
- Fix When trying to rename a subscription in Cloud Platform, the Rename button was dimmed, and as a result, the action couldn’t be completed.
- Fix The Stack Metrics cron memory usage bar for application metrics failed to correctly display data for a web server.
Cloud Platform - May 10, 2020 through May 16, 2020
- Feature Cloud Platform Enterprise subscribers can now install and activate multiple SSL certificates on environments provisioned after May 14, 2020. This feature isn’t available for Cloud Platform Professional subscribers.
- Change When creating a Cloud Platform account, users will now experience improved password strength validation.
Cloud Platform - May 3, 2020 through May 9, 2020
- Change The Ruby version on Cloud Platform was updated.
- Fix Attempts to rename a subscription by clicking Rename in the subscription list on the Subscriptions page failed.
Cloud Platform - April 26, 2020 through May 2, 2020
- Change Subscribers attempting to set their Memcached memory limit to a value greater than 128 MB using the Servers page or the Cloud Platform API will now see detailed error message. Contact Acquia Support if you require a Memcached memory limit greater than 128 MB.
- Change Cloud Platform now records database backups after subscribers create them.
Cloud Platform - April 19, 2020 through April 25, 2020
- Change Subscribers using the Cloud Platform API will now see a human-readable error message instead of a
500
error when attempting to set the PHP version to a null value.
Cloud Platform - April 12, 2020 through April 18, 2020
- Change The endpoints for deleting and disabling a log forwarding destination were refactored to provide a notification ID for Cloud Platform API users to determine the status of long-running tasks.
- Change The PHP section of the Configuration page in the Cloud Platform user interface was updated to display Drupal version recommendations when selecting PHP 7.4.
Cloud Platform - April 5, 2020 through April 11, 2020
- Change Subscribers attempting to download MySQL Slow Query logs using the Cloud Platform API will now see a more detailed error message if the logs couldn’t be generated.
- Change Subscribers can now delete Cloud Platform CD environments in the Cloud Platform user interface when the environments are in the
launching
state. - Change The endpoint for creating a log forwarding destination and enabling a log forwarding were refactored to provide a notification ID for Cloud Platform API users to determine the status of long-running tasks.
- Change Subscribers attempting to use the Cloud Platform API to update their Application Performance Monitoring (APM) settings in the Cloud Platform user interface will now see an error message if they experience an issue.
Cloud Platform - March 29, 2020 through April 4, 2020
- Change Subscribers with Cloud Platform Enterprise applications can now view and edit their environment Application Performance Monitoring settings.
- Change Subscribers can no longer make Cross-origin resource sharing (CORS) requests to the Cloud Platform API.
- Fix When attempting to set up a new New Relic license key in the Cloud Platform user interface, subscribers received an error message when providing no application name, although the application name isn’t a required field.
Cloud Platform - March 22, 2020 through March 28, 2020
- Feature PHP 7.4 is now available for Cloud Platform Enterprise and Cloud Platform Professional subscribers.
- Change The endpoint for deleting an identity provider now provides a notification ID for Cloud Platform API users to determine the status of a task.
- Change When attempting to claim a New Relic account on the Add-ons page in the Cloud Platform user interface, an error displays to users if their account ID is unrecognized.
- Change The Performance monitoring section in the Configuration panel was updated to make it easier for subscribers to set up New Relic Application Performance Monitoring (APM).
Cloud Platform - March 15, 2020 through March 21, 2020
- Change The Add-ons page in the Cloud Platform user interface now includes text to show subscribers how to claim a New Relic account.
- Change Subscribers can now view a list of all applications within a subscription by clicking the View subscriptions details on the Subscriptions page in the Cloud Platform user interface.

- Change The SSH2 extension is now available in PHP 7.3 in the Cloud Platform interface.
- Change The Cloud Platform user interface was updated so headers appear the same across pages.
- Fix When attempting to view pages in the Manage section of the user Cloud Platform user interface, the pages sometimes failed to load.
- Fix The Edit Log Forwarding Destination page in the Cloud Platform user interface contained an incorrect link to documentation.
Cloud Platform - March 1, 2020 through March 7, 2020
- Change The endpoint for creating an API token was refactored to provide a notification ID for Cloud Platform API users to determine the status of long-running tasks.
- Change Drush versions were updated to 8.2.3 and 9.7.0.
- Fix When attempting to add, remove, or reset Shield ACL rules in the Cloud Platform user interface or in the Cloud Platform API, some subscribers may have received an error.

- Fix When using the Cloud Platform API to copy an extremely large database, the notification ID sometimes returned a

Cloud Platform - February 9, 2020 through February 15, 2020
- Feature The Cloud Platform user interface now includes an Add-ons page for users to opt-in to New Relic Application Performance Monitoring (APM).
- Change The warning text for PHP 7.2 and PHP 7.3 now displays the supported Drupal versions on the Configuration page of the Cloud Platform user interface.
- Change The endpoint for modifying an identity provider now provides a notification ID for Cloud Platform API users to determine the status of long-running tasks.
- Change The endpoint for downloading Drush aliases now returns the content type as
application/gzip
. - Change The endpoint for creating a Cloud IDE now allows only users with the Manage Personal IDEs permission to use it.
- Change Users viewing an individual application in the Acquia Cloud API can now view a link for the application’s corresponding Cloud IDEs.
- Fix Subscribers using the GET api/distributions/ {name} endpoint received an

error.

- Change New Relic has been updated to version 9.4.1.250 and is now compatible with PHP version 7.4.
Cloud Platform - February 2, 2020 through February 8, 2020
- Change The icon for the Install SSL Certificate button was updated.
- Change The Starred and Recent tabs were removed from the breadcrumb menu in the Cloud Platform user interface.
- Change The button to enable uptime monitoring was removed in the Cloud Platform user interface for subscribers with Cloud Platform Free subscriptions.
- Change Subscribers with Administrator permissions can now view each team member’s name and email address when clicking the Members and Teams tabs on the Organizations > Team management page in the Cloud Platform user interface.
Cloud Platform - January 26, 2020 through February 1, 2020
- Feature Varnish over SSL is now enabled by default for Cloud Platform Enterprise, Site Factory, and Cloud Platform Professional subscribers.
- Change The postEnableIdentityProvider endpoint now returns a notification ID to help users determine the status of a task.
- Change The organization property for the getSubscriptions and getSubscription endpoints now uses an embedded organization summary, which has a read model with the properties
uid
andname
. - Change Varnish over SSL is no longer available as an endpoint, and has been removed.
- Change The Activate an Acquia Subscription add-on permission for New Relic is no longer active.
- Change The Cloud Platform user interface has improved managing Cloud IDE permissions for user association.
- Change The Cloud Platform user interface now validates the input field for environment variables.
- Fix Subscribers using Enterprise Single Sign-On (SSO) couldn’t download logs from the Cloud Platform user interface.
- Fix Subscribers couldn’t configure environment variables that included a value of

. - Fix Some subscribers received incorrect Cloud Platform API responses due to errors in the Cloud Platform API schema documentation.
- Fix In the Cloud Platform user interface, clicking the Learn more link in the log forwarding feature didn’t display the correct documentation page.

- Fix Subscribers with more than 1,000 backups in an environment couldn’t view their backups in the Cloud Platform user interface.
Cloud Platform - January 12, 2020 through January 18, 2020
- Change The endpoints for installing an SSL certificate and deactivating an SSL certificate were refactored to provide a notification ID for Cloud Platform API users to determine the status of long-running tasks.
- Change Subscribers with Syslog and Splunk log forwarding destinations will now receive empty structured data formatted as

Cloud Platform - January 5, 2020 through January 11, 2020
- Change The endpoints for enabling a cron job, disabling a cron job, and activating an SSL certificate were refactored to provide a notification ID for Cloud Platform API users to determine the status of long-running tasks.
- Change The format for the
FilesCopied
notification was updated to a string. - Change The descriptions for the
/usage/
endpoints were updated in the Cloud Platform API documentation. - Change When a subscriber clicks either Starred or Recent on the Applications page, the Cloud Platform user interface will now display the title as either Starred Applications or Recently Viewed Applications respectively.
