Installing the Acquia Connector

Using Acquia Insight

Before you can access Acquia Insight, you have to connect your website to Acquia by installing and activating the Acquia Connector module. The Acquia Connectoris a Drupal module package that allows your websites to exchange information with Acquia.

To install the Acquia Connector, complete the following steps:

  1. Download the latest stable version of the Acquia Connector for your version of Drupal. For Drupal 7, you must use a 7.x-3.x version of the Acquia Insight module.
If you're using the Lightning Drupal distribution, the Acquia Connector is already included; you don't need to download it, and you can skip to the Enabling the Acquia Connector section on this page.
  2. Extract the acquia_connector/ directory into the [docroot]/sites/all/modules directory, where [docroot] is the location of your Drupal installation.

After you have confirmed that your Drupal distribution includes the Acquia Connector, you can enable the module for use.
