Content Hub

Using taxonomy with discovery in Content Hub 1.x

Important

Content Hub 1.x will reach end-of-life on September 30, 2024. Acquia recommends you to upgrade to Content Hub 3.x. For more information, see Upgrading from Content Hub 1.x to 3.x.

When you import content, Content Hub uses tags, both as filters for import, and like other taxonomy terms native to your website (after the content is imported).

Adding terms

For information about taxonomy and how to create and use it with your website, see the Concept: Taxonomy user guide page on Drupal.org.

Configuring terms for import

You must configure Acquia Content Hub to export tags before they can be made available. Complete the following steps to configure tags for use with Acquia Content Hub:

  1. Ensure you have created a taxonomy and added tags to some of your content.
  2. As an administrator on your website, navigate to Configuration > Acquia Content Hub > Entity Configuration.
  3. In the Taxonomy_Term fieldset, select the checkbox next to the vocabulary you want to make available for export.
  4. Click Save configuration.

Using tags

After a vocabulary is available for export, the Tags menu on the discovery page should have the terms from your vocabulary that are available for import.

If no tags are available, Acquia Content Hub will display a message like the following:

Your content does not have any tags associated with it.

During an initial search for tags, responses are limited to the first 1,000 entities. To find more entities with tags, enter your desired tags (of at least three characters in length) into the search toolbar.
