Personalization

Using campaigns in Personalization

Campaigns in Personalization describe how personalized information for your visitors displays on your website. Campaigns include settings for when the campaign is to be displayed to visitors and how its content is to be displayed. They can gauge which displayed content generates better results for certain actions. As an example, you may have a campaign that displays financial planning content to website visitors who scroll to the bottom of certain webpages for the next two months.

To view your available campaigns, or to change their settings, go to the Campaigns webpage. To do this:

  1. Sign in to Personalization.

  2. In the top menu, click Personalize.

  3. In the left menu, click Campaigns.

The following information is available about your campaigns:

  • Status: Shows whether your campaign is published or unpublished (Sortable, click to view details).

  • Name: The name of the campaign. Click the name to view a summary of the campaign (Sortable).

  • URL: The URL of the website where the campaign is in use.

  • Start: The date this campaign began, or will begin. This may also be set to Immediately for campaigns starting upon completion of the campaign definition (Sortable).

  • End: The end date of the campaign. This may be set to Indefinitely for campaigns with no end (Sortable).

  • Actions: Clickable links with actions to perform on a campaign. If you load the Campaigns webpage at less than 1600px, you must click the three vertical dots menu (kebab menu) to access the action items. Based on the type of your campaign, the primary action varies as follows:

    Campaign type

    Primary action

    Unpublished

    Edit

    Published or Scheduled

    Pause

    Complete or Archived

    Clone

Note

  • The Start and End dates and times for your campaign must display in the following format: MMM d, y, h:mm a.
For example: June 28, 2019, 5:11 PM EST
