Acquia DAM simplifies how content is organized, accessed, and delivered across digital experiences. When creating experiences in Acquia Convert powered by VWO, users can select from the curated assets within their own Acquia DAM. This integration brings the asset governance of Acquia DAM into the experience-building editorial process in Acquia Convert. Additionally, users can configure which DAM environment to connect to.
Prerequisites¶
- Acquia Convert powered by VWO subscription
- Acquia DAM subscription
- A user account in Acquia Convert and Acquia DAM
Configuring the integration ¶
To configure the Acquia DAM integration, do the following:
- Log in to your Acquia Convert account.
- In the main navigation menu, click Configurations.
- Click Integrations.
- Locate the Acquia DAM app and click Click to connect.
On the Acquia DAM app details page, click Enable Now.
After enabling, the system displays the Config tab and Configure Your Acquia DAM page.
- In Acquia DAM URL, enter the URL of your Acquia DAM account.
- Click Save.
Using images from Acquia DAM in Acquia Convert¶
To import images from your Acquia DAM account to use in the Acquia Convert editor, do the following:
- Log in to your Acquia Convert account.
Open the web page where you want to edit an image.
For example, a Personalize campaign.
- In the toolbar at the bottom, click Library.
- Click the intended Widget or Basic Element.
- Click the image pop-up window.
- In the Image editor menu, click Change Image.
- In the Change Image dialog box, click the Acquia DAM tab.
- Click Log in to Acquia.
- Enter your Acquia DAM account login credentials.
- In the authorization confirmation dialog box, click Allow.
You can browse and select from the images you have in your Acquia DAM account. Select the image from your Acquia DAM.
The system displays a preview of the image with the following details:
- URL: The URL of the image from where it is sourced.
- Title: The name of the image.
- Alt text: The name that appears on the image when hovered over.
- Size: Size of the image in pixels.
- Border: Border size of the image in pixels.
- To select the image, click Done.
