How do I edit a video in Video Creator?

For editing videos in Video Creator, you can start with an existing asset in DAM. First, find a supported video, image, or audio asset and select Video Creator in Asset Digest.

The supported asset formats are:

  • Video: MP4, MKV, FLV, WMV, M4V, MPEG, AVI, WEBM, MOV, and 3GP.
  • Images: GIF, JPEG, JPG, PNG, SVG, WEBP, and HEIC.
  • Audio: FLAC, M4A, MP3, WAV, OGG, WMA, AIFF, and OPUS.

A new tab will open and you’ll see the asset within the editor. From here, you can start arranging audio and clips, adding effects and animations, and much more. For more details on video editing features, see the Moovly help and training section below.

Search for more DAM assets to add to the video by selecting your DAM site under Your Libraries.

Either browse all assets in DAM or search a keyword or phrase in the search bar. The results will show any assets with filenames that include your search and you have permission to view and use in the DAM. You also indicate when you want to search by category or collection. Click an asset in the results to insert it into your project.

In the editor, you can access the Toolkit, a collection of advanced features including subtitles, Google Translate, record a video, text-to-speech, text-to-video generation, and AI video generation.

Once you’re finished editing, click Save and exit in the editor.

From the project overview page, you can export the video to DAM. You can also create a new project
