Acquia DAM - March 2026
CI HUB drive connector
The CI HUB Drive integration allows you to mount your Acquia DAM instance as a virtual drive directly within macOS Finder windows. Support is coming soon. This enables users to navigate their entire asset library as if it were a local folder on their computer.
Customer benefits
- Eliminate context switching: Access, search, and place DAM assets into creative projects directly from your native file explorer without opening a web browser.
- Optimize local storage: Files are streamed or downloaded only when needed, allowing you to access a massive library without consuming significant local disk space.
- Stay synchronized: Work with the confidence that you are always accessing the most current, approved versions of assets directly from the DAM.
Facial recognition self-service backfill
Administrators can now initiate a bulk backfill process to run facial recognition on assets that existed in the DAM prior to the feature being enabled. This self-service tool is located within the Features page of the Admin app.
Customer benefits
- Accelerated library enrichment: Quickly apply AI-driven facial recognition to your entire legacy library instead of processing assets individually.
- Targeted processing: Admins can choose to include or exclude specific upload profiles to ensure backfills are only run on relevant content.
- Increased asset discoverability: Ensure that older assets are just as easy to find via facial search as newly uploaded ones.
Wrike native connector
The Wrike Native Connector integrates Acquia DAM directly into the Wrike interface. Users can now search for DAM assets to attach to tasks or upload finished work back to the DAM without leaving their project management environment.
Customer benefits
- Improved productivity: Stop the manual cycle of downloading assets from the DAM to upload them into Wrike tasks.
- Centralized metadata management: Fill out important DAM metadata fields directly within Wrike during the upload process.
- Version integrity: Ensure project teams are always using the latest approved assets, reducing the risk of using outdated files.
Search help in new search experience
To bring the New Search experience closer to full feature parity with the legacy interface, the Search Help modal has been ported over. It is now accessible via the User Account menu.
Customer benefits
- Feature parity: Access the same detailed search syntax and tips you rely on in the legacy experience within the modern UI.
- Convenient reference: Quickly look up search operators and filtering tips without navigating away from your active search results.
Global new experience admin toggle
Administrators now have a global toggle to transition their entire organization to the New Search and Asset Digest interfaces simultaneously.
Customer benefits
- Organizational alignment: Ensure every user in your DAM is using the same interface, making internal training and documentation much simpler.
- Streamlined administration: Transition the entire team at once rather than managing individual user preferences, preparing the organization for the eventual retirement of legacy search.
Bulk Actions - Add Attachments
A native Add attachments action has been added to the New Search bulk actions bar, enabling users to append supplemental files to multiple assets simultaneously. The tool supports a hybrid workflow, allowing users to either link existing DAM files or upload new documents.
Customer Benefits
- Simplified Routine: Eliminate the need to switch back to the legacy interface just to handle supplemental files for high-volume management.
- Flexible Enrichment: Choose to link existing files from the DAM library or upload new documents directly to the selected assets in one motion.
- Workflow Continuity: Porting this essential functionality to the modern UI ensures managers can stay within the New Search experience for end-to-end asset management.
