Create personal shortcuts

Introduction

This article provides instructions on how to create personal shortcuts in Acquia Optimize.

Instructions

Follow these steps to create a personal shortcut:

  1. Click Shortcuts (grid icon) on the top menu bar.

    The system displays the Shortcuts menu with the following sections:

    • Company Shortcuts: A list of all existing company-wide shortcuts.
    • Personal Shortcuts: A list of all existing personal shortcuts.

    Click the intended shortcut to navigate to it.

  2. Do one of the following:

    • If you do not have an existing personal shortcut, click No shortcut - click to create one in the Personal Shortcuts section.

    • If you have an existing personal shortcut, click Create Shortcut at the bottom of the Shortcuts menu.

    The system displays the Shortcut pane.

  3. In the Shortcut details section, do the following:
    1. In the Name field, enter a name for the shortcut.
    2. In the URL field, enter the URL for the shortcut.
    3. In the Show on Dashboard field, do one of the following:
      • Move the slider to the right to show the shortcut on the dashboard.
      • Move the slider to the left to hide the shortcut on the dashboard.
    4. In the Open the Browser in field, select one of the following options:
      • New Tab
      • Same Tab
    5. In the Icon Type field, select one of the following options:
      • Icon
      • URL
    6. In the Icon field, select an icon for the shortcut.

      The following are the available options for the icon:

      • Document: Icon of a paper
      • Profile: Icon of a human bust
      • Search Engine: Icon of a magnifying glass
      • Link: Icon of a paper clip
      • Chart: Icon of a line chart
      • Home: Icon of a house
