Campaign Studio - December 17, 2020

  • Feature Relative date functions are now available within campaign actions in Campaign Studio.

  • Change Campaign Studio now has enhanced password strength, thereby requiring users to provide a secure password upon login.

  • Change Campaign Studio now has enhanced stability and scalibility.

  • Change Campaign Studio now prevents small campaigns from getting unpublished due to failing events.

  • Fix Some instances of Campaign Studio displayed the Close button in two colors in the new email builder.

  • Fix There was an issue with dynamic content filters in the new email builder.

  • Fix There was an issue with the Salesforce Plugin that led to duplicate records being synced to Salesforce.

Campaign Studio - December 10, 2020

  • Feature For emails and landing pages, you can now edit and save a draft version of the published content. Once done, you can either push the draft to production or discard the changes.

  • Feature Campaign Studio allows you to use Segment Membership as a filter for dynamic content.

  • Feature Campaign Studio now allows you to create, read, update, and delete custom objects via APIs. Additionally, you can use APIs to add or remove links between multiple custom objects as well as search for custom objects.

  • Change Campaign Studio now allows you to use custom objects and fields in the form field mapping feature.

  • Change The File Manager has now been updated to the latest version.

  • Change The Unsubscribe URLs have been updated to provide enhanced scale and stability.

  • Fix Emojis, used in titles and subtitles of push notifications, were not working.

  • Fix While using the Salesforce v2 plugin, Campaign Studio was unable to load data when Salesforce Campaign was used as a filter in segments.

  • Fix For the Salesforce v2 plugin, the timeline-activity sync didn’t work for timeline custom objects.

Campaign Studio - November 12, 2020

  • Feature You can now create global data tokens to be used throughout your instance.

  • Feature Campaign Studio now ensures that the CC and BCC fields recognize tokens as addresses.

  • Feature You can now create dynamic filters based on the condition that a contact is a member of a certain segment.

  • Feature Campaign Studio now has improved backend performance for adding custom fields.

  • Fix Users were unable to save emails in the new builder.

  • Fix While creating a conditional form and selecting United States as the country, the state field defaulted to the first value in the list, that is, Alabama, instead of blank.

  • Fix Salesforce v2 plugin had sync errors.

  • Fix Campaign Studio displayed incorrect default text in the Preferred Timezone field on the New Contact page.

Campaign Studio - November 5, 2020

  • Feature You can now create custom objects to create one to many relationships within a contact.

  • Change Campaign Studio now allows you to define a default address where all messages are sent whenever contacts reply to messages sent from Campaign Studio.

  • Change Campaign Studio now allows you to use customized 404 page, if you don’t want to use the default error page.

  • Fix Users were unable to clone emails created by using the new email builder.

  • Fix Segment filters were unable to recognize custom field values that contained parentheses.

Campaign Studio - September 28, 2020

  • Feature You can now leverage the new email builder to create rich emails for campaigns.

  • Feature Campapign Studio now allows all EU customers to send emails through Sparkpost EU hosting.

  • Feature Campaign Studio now supports 2-legged authentication to ensure enhanced security for your product’s integration with Campaign Studio.

  • Change The background webhook processing has been enhanced to reduce processing delays.

  • Fix For a custom field of HTML type of the contact object, HTML wasn’t accepted as the default value.

  • Fix For segment filters, the values get updated for incorrect filter when an operator is modified for one of the filters.

  • Fix Landing page redirects didn’t work.

  • Fix The segment filter: Asset Download didn’t display all the available assets.

  • Fix Failed segment builds blocked other segments from building.

Campaign Studio - September 23, 2020

  • Feature Campaign Studio now records the last date when a segment record was built and displays a warning message if the segment hasn’t been rebuilt for a specified number of hours.

  • Fix Users were unable to update contact or company details for custom fields of HTML type.

  • Fix Bugs in the campaign builder user interface were resolved.

  • Fix A sync job ran even when the plugin was unpublished.

  • Fix While uploading a CSV file, the status was shown as manual instead of in progress.

  • Feature Campaign Studio is now integrated with BrightTALK, a professional webinar hosting service. BrightTALK collects subscriber information, such as name, email address, company, location, webinar status (registered/attended/attended on demand) and syncs this information with Campaign Studio.

  • Change Mautic is now renamed to Campaign Studio. The logos on the Campaign Studio login page and the sidebar header are also updated.

  • Change Conditional form fields now support two additional field types- Radio group and Checkbox group.

  • Fix The landing page link tokens were unable to save the token as the destination.

  • Fix Campaign Studio couldn’t send emails through Sparkpost if the Convert embed images to Base64 option (under Email Settings > Message Settings) was set to Yes. For more information, see Message Settings.

  • Fix Campaign actions didn’t respect scheduling for specific days of the week.

  • Fix API permissions disappeared from the roles permission options.

  • Fix Users were unable to map the Do not contact - Email option with the Salesforce v1 plugin.

Campaign Studio - July 1, 2020

  • Fix Users were unable to save custom fields without specifying labels.

  • Fix Salesforce v2 plugin had incorrect error handling to account for Salesforce owners without email address.

Campaign Studio - May 20, 2020

  • Feature Campaign Studio now supports conditional fields. Conditional fields allows you to manage sets of dependencies between fields. Such fields are available for editing and display only if the right condition is met. For more information, see conditional forms.

  • Feature Campaign Studio is now integrated with mParticle, enabling you to pass event data between mParticle CDP and Campaign Studio.

  • Feature Campaign Studio is now integrated with Drift, a conversational marketing platform that combines chat, email, video, and automation channels. By using Drift with Campaign Studio, you can add contacts to Campaign Studio and score leads directly from a Drift conversation.

  • Feature Campaign Studio is now integrated with Zoom, a cloud platform for video, phone, content sharing, and chat runs across mobile devices, desktops, telephones, and room systems. You can use Campaign Studio forms or campaigns for webinar registration in Zoom and leverage the registration status for specific webinars to run various marketing activities.

  • Fix If a tracking code was added in the landing page settings configuration, Campaign Studio added a 1 at the top of landing pages.

  • Fix Campaign Studio updated the segment filters (with a value of 0) to blank.

  • Fix Campaign Studio couldn’t trigger segment emails; to be sent through the API.

  • Fix Page previews didn’t display in Campaign Studio’s focus item builder.

  • Fix Themes failed to download if the tmp directory didn’t pre-exist.

Campaign Studio - April 28, 2020

  • Fix Campaign Studio closed the editor if the Apply button was clicked in the email and landing page builders.

  • Fix The webinar list for the GoToWebinar campaign conditions was improperly formatted.

  • Fix Users couldn’t save contacts that are associated with a stage.

Campaign Studio - April 24, 2020

  • Fix The Send email action in campaigns displayed email IDs and not names.

  • Fix Users were unable to add a recently created email to a campaign.

  • Fix The segments with filters for membership in other segments didn’t populate properly.

  • Fix Users were unable to save a variation of an email.

  • Fix The Send email to user action triggered many times.

Campaign Studio - April 21, 2020

  • Fix Users were unable to save emails containing empty dynamic content slots.

  • Fix When users requested a password reset, the link in the password reset email was invalid.

  • Fix The segment filter- Read a specific email didn’t populate with available emails.

  • Fix The link in password reset emails was broken.

  • Fix Users were unable to save an email that contained a dynamic content slot.

  • Fix Support tickets, created from the Help button in a Campaign Studio instance, didn’t reach Acquia’s support team.

  • Fix Segment filters displayed values and not labels.

  • Fix Users were unable to download themes.

  • Fix Users were unable to update segments with custom fields; that were deleted later.

Campaign Studio - April 16, 2020

  • Feature Campaign Studio now allows you to restrict form submissions from specified domains.

  • Feature Campaign Studio now has enhanced segment usage statistics.

  • Change Symfony was updated to version 3.4.

  • Change Users can now use the Owner field as a dynamic content filter.

  • Change Google+ is removed from the plugins list and Social Share buttons.

  • Change All new Campaign Studio instances now supports the utf8mb4 charset.

  • Change Campaign Studio now supports campaign actions that allow you to add or remove contacts from the Do Not Contact list.

  • Fix Attempts to preview a website for a focus item failed.

  • Fix Users experienced errors while validating SAML/SSO requests.

  • Fix The segment filters for the Number field type didn’t have greater than or less than operators.

  • Fix Users were unable to create contacts couldn’t via API if the State field value was included in the payload.

  • Change Users will now see a confirmation alert when attempting to delete a custom object.

Campaign Studio - March 19, 2020

  • Change Campaign Studio now includes the UTM tracking parameter Campaign Term, in the email builder. This completes the group of the five widely accepted UTM tracking parameters: Campaign Source, Campaign Medium, Campaign Name, and Campaign Content.

  • Change Campaign Studio now creates a plain-text version of emails sent through Campaign Studio. Users don’t need to click the auto-generate button for every email created. This increases email deliverability without user intervention.

  • Fix Default email templates didn’t use responsive theming.

Campaign Studio - March 10, 2020

  • Change The word [TEST] is now added to the beginning of the subject line for send example emails.

  • Change Campaign Studio now has support for securing global webhooks.

  • Fix Users creating custom fields on large instances experienced time outs.

  • Fix Users were unable to configure their credentials using Twilio and OneSignal.

  • Fix Tags weren’t added to contacts when those contacts were imported using CSV.

Campaign Studio - January 27, 2020

  • Change Various updates were added to ensure web activity tracking continued to work, due to changes for Chrome 80 and future browsers.
