Campaign Studio

Web requests and API limits FAQ

Campaign Studio limits web requests and API calls to protect Campaign Studio and the user. A web request takes place when known or unknown contacts visit a website tracked by Campaign Studio. For more information on adding the JavaScript to your website, review the Tracking Settings section of our tracking settings.

More visitors require more web requests. When your account has reached its limit, Campaign Studio displays an error message. Campaign Studio computes the total each second. If your account exceeds the limit in one second, you can access your account seconds later. Your account operates as expected, meaning marketing communication will still send and track.

While Campaign Studio doesn’t have a daily API Request limit, Campaign Studio Cloud instances are limited by default to 70 requests per second. If you need this changed, create a Support ticket.
