Note
Acquia has relaunched the Certification exam proctoring service using a new provider named ProctorU. Acquia uses Acquia Academy to administer exams. This replaces Web Assessor/Kryterion as our exam proctoring and administration service provider.
If you are already registered to take an exam on Web Assessor, and your exam is scheduled prior to April 27, 2022, you will take your exam on Web Assessor as planned. If your exam is scheduled after April 27, 2022, the Acquia Certification Program Office will contact you to reschedule your exam using our new proctoring service. For more information about the new process, visit exam registration and Acquia Academy.
On the day of your exam, before the exam start time, you must log in to Web Assessor. Acquia recommends you take a few minutes to prepare your workspace and confirm with the proctor that you are ready to take the test. When you are ready, click Launch Exam to begin the exam.
No-Show Policy
Acquia has a strict no-show policy. If you miss your scheduled time for an exam (online or onsite), you forfeit that test. Since proctors monitor scheduled exams, Acquia does not provide a refund for no-shows. You must register and pay for the exam again or use a new voucher to pay for the exam. Setting up your computer to take an online exam takes some time. Acquia recommends setting up and testing your computer at least 72 hours before the exam start time. This way, if you have an issue that prevents you from taking your exam, you will still be able to reschedule without paying a rescheduling fee.
If you pass the exam, you will receive an email containing the following items:
Note
If you did not receive an email, check your spam or trash folder. If you do not find an email in either of those folders, email certification@acquia.com. Acquia does not issue physical or printed certificates.
If you do not pass an exam, you will receive an email with your score and must wait for at least two weeks before registering to retake the exam.
You may retake the same exam up to two more times. A candidate may try any exam for a maximum of three times. A fourth attempt requires a waiver from the Acquia Certification Program office.
To retake the exam, you must register again for the exam and either pay full price or use a coupon or voucher.
When cancelling a certification exam, ensure you adhere to the following guidelines:
You can cancel an exam you have registered for a full refund, as long as the exam is cancelled more than 72 hours before the commencement of the exam (for onsite tests) or more than 24 hours before the commencement of the exam (for online tests).
To cancel your exam, complete the following steps:
A registered user can produce their own invoice by logging in to Web Assessor and clicking Generate Invoice on the home page (above the scheduled exams table).
